Perfume is not $h!t! It's truly the song of the year and is in the same category as The Club Is Alive, Pack Up and Heart Vacancy. :cheer:

Just my opinion. I far prefer Parade's stuff to Sound Girl's. Although none of them are particularly "amazing" acts. I think Parade have far more potential.

I think the production on both Parade's and The Wanted's songs, at least the ones I've heard, is waaaay too quiet.

I think the only way in which Parade beats SoundGirl is in terms of the band name. Otherwise, I think SG wins.

The Soundgirl song is quite great imo. It's being promoted quite well over on 4Music and T4.

I've just heard SoundGirl on YouTube, it's not that great. The original by Carly Simon is much better :heart: I don't want to hear Parade's new one after making one of the worst songs of the year in 'Louder'. 'Perfume' is not a good song title name too :(

Perfume is an even worse version of Louder, so you should most certainly stay away from it then :lol:

Ugh hope Jason autotuned Derulo does not get near no.1. Really don't get the hype round him at all. I also see Hard Fi charting in the low 30's somehow. Might be wrong and they end up lower or higher but I see them personally ending up in the 30's. Pleased with the GaGa boost :D EOG need to be higher than 6. Brilliant song.

I think both Vato and Jason could well challenge for number 1, I hope Hard-Fi do well but I can't see anything better than top 30 :( the Soundgirl song is actually pretty good :mellow: better than Parade's new one anyway

Since when we were awashed with them in the early 90s, Hepburn, Thunderbugs, Made In London, Masai, etc etc.

Parade might have 'quite' high physicals too due to the bundles they're doing and they're also giving away a snippet of the album with each text download..

I'm sure there must've been 3 girl groups in the top 40 since then and before now though. There was probably some time where the Sugababes, Girls Aloud and The Pussycat Dolls were all in the top 40 together. :lol: :wub:

I want it to do well too, but only for the original version - the Foreign Beggars version is awful.

 

Vato would be a far better #1 than Jason anyway. (I do like DWGH, but it's not #1 material at all, whereas the original version of Badman Riddim is IMO)

Thats where I completely disagree with you, I feel like everything Parade has released so far has been so generic. I feel like SoundGirl are the only new girlband out there trying to do something different. I think this stunning song shows how much potential they have. Its miles better than DKW and sounds like something Jordin Sparks would release:

Louder >> Don't Know Why > I'm The Fool > Perfume

 

Soundgirl >> Parade

 

Perfume is alright, Louder is a total tune! It's just the former sounds like a demo :( Both girlgroups will be top 40 though tbh. What I've heard of Soundgirl shows so much potential :wub:

Me too :heart: Top 10 would be great for this song. It's different compared to a lot of dance songs and the rapping adds to the song. The Friction remix has got 32 plays on my iTunes - I loved that earlier this year and I might even buy the original (with Foreign Beggars ofc) this weekend (not sure yet but it's a good song) It's been floating around a long time, but last year 'Gold Dust' was released in August, when I got the song (without vocals) on Christmas 2009 with The Annual 2010 :lol:
