'Can't Get You Out of My Head' has been certified 3x Platinum for chart sales of 1.8m. It was on 1.53m as of September 2021 and had been averaging 1.4k weekly chart sales. It's now grown to an average of 2,269 chart sales, in part thanks to the Peggy Gou remix that was released in May 2022. It's on track to pass 2m in September 2025!

Love that certifications are automatic now rather than labels having to request them, also such an achievement for it to reach Px3 :cheer: It still sounds as good now as it did when it was released.

Those £5 vinyl and cassettes still doing wonders for EFY

Kylie Christmas total UK sales were 170,578 on Friday 29th December 2023. Unfortunately a chart position wasn't given... but hopefully we'll know that soon.

It had sold 164,380 a year earlier, Friday 30th December 2022. So that was growth of 6,198 sales. At that rate it won't pass 200,000 total until Christmas 2028. 300,000 would be Christmas 2044 lol.

Tension (album) - 81,781 on Fri 5th Jan 2024. Fell out of the 12th Jan chart Top 200 (previous position was #147).

Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection - 244,623 on Fri 12th Jan 2024, re-entering at #190.

Kylie Christmas was a re-entry at #121! Its 23rd week in the Top 200.

Hopefully next year it has a bit more streaming power outside the top 2 tracks to chart inside the top 100.

That’s its best chart performance based mostly on streams I think?

Thanks for the sales update! Tension crawling towards gold like… :cheeseblock:
I’m sure this has been covered somewhere else, but am I right in thinking that ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ spent its first week outside the top 100, then climbed to 90 on its 2nd week - and the chart would have been the Sunday chart on 10th January? The reason why I ask is that on Mike Stock’s page he has said that it first charted on 16th January. This is the chart date given by OCC, but the chart was announced six days earlier. Do you know if I’m correct?
Any reason update on opening page notes Padam as 396k as at jan 11th if it has been certified Gold! Surely it should be 400k.

Yes. It appears it was updated last Thursday. It was not announced as being certified as gold until last Friday.

This album must have sold really meagerly since crossed 400,000 way back when!

It sold 8 copies per week between the totals we got 2019 and 2020. I worked out the other day that it would be on 404,800 as of the week before this, so add the sales of this week and that’s bang on with the total we got today!

I just did the math on this, and at this rate of 8 copies per week Body Language will go 2X platinum in the year 2488
