July 6, 201115 yr A whole C-list of new stuff! The one I'm gleeful about this week is Robyn, totally unexpected and my favourite song of the year.
July 6, 201115 yr Author Robyn is Scott Mills' record of the week. Yes, an all new C-list is pretty rare. Usually there are climbers from Upfront or songs that dont move up from C-list.
July 6, 201115 yr Wow, nice additions this week, with an entirely new C-List! Good to see them supporting Emeli Sande, hopefully that can be a hit. Also good for Eminem, Noah and The Whale, Robyn and Nero, although I haven't heard Robyn and Nero yet.
July 6, 201115 yr Robyn is indeed a great unexpected edition. Also pleased that Emeli Sande is being supported and great to see Rizzle Kicks up to the A List :D Not a bad week in all although I need to youtube about 5 of the new additions that I've never heard before...
July 6, 201115 yr Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger to B-list :o Didn't think radio 1 would support her, Wonder if it will become A-list before it's release. Edited July 6, 201115 yr by Brooke_x

Jess Mills I recommend Rich :)
July 6, 201115 yr Very surprised about the Robyn addition. Maybe it stands a chance of at least outpeaking Indestructable (hardly a task, I know) and Hang With Me then! I thought they'd given up on her after Hang With Me flopped. That said, I have heard Call Your Girlfriend out in shops and stuff alot already, so it's boding well. :D
July 6, 201115 yr Why is Robyn unexpected at all? R1 have always been supporters of Robyn, Indestructible aside. I fully expected them to playlist CYG personally. Great to see Nero added, I was beginning to worry they might snub them for some reason :o Surprised to see no Tinie/Wiz this week, I suspect it'll be added next week. Great to see The Horrors on the A-List, although it'll do nothing in the chart especially as it's yet another song with no single release. I'll be really annoyed if it comes close to the top 40 a la Under Cover Of Darkness/If You Wanna, I'd prefer it to flop completely (although top 40 would be the best case scenario of course :P) Very surprised to see R1 playlist Benny Benassi/Gary Go (they'd almost certainly have ignored it if it weren't for BP surely) and Emeli Sandé. Emeli has really taken her time to get some proper material out. Little Dragon and Jess Mills are somewhat expected as they supported Wildfire (SBTRKT feat. Little Dragon) and Fighting Fire (Breakage feat. Jess Mills) before. As for the other four C-List additions, Charlie Simpson is a bit yawn, Eminem's new single is alright but not up to the standard of the previous 3 Recovery singles (although it looks like it could outpeak No Love!), Life Is Life is okay and I didn't even know Erick Morillo/Eddie Thoneick were still around... Edited July 6, 201115 yr by Bré
July 6, 201115 yr Why is Robyn unexpected at all? R1 have always been supporters of Robyn, Indestructible aside. I fully expected them to playlist CYG personally. Because 'Indestructible' was the lead single from the album, released over 8 months ago was ignored completely, and was a monumental flop.
July 6, 201115 yr big movement this week, can't say I care for much, but great for Nicki and Cher :cheer: (I wonder if Super Bass can finally go top 10, would need a big boost) great for Nero too, hopefully the support for that will get them another big hit, although its still not as great as Guilt and Me & You for me yet
July 6, 201115 yr Wow! Robyn :yahoo: Anyone know When is it released? I thought it was out in May, and flopped. Also Benny Benassi :cheer: I didn't expect this, and to think just a few days ago I was saying in the prediction thread that if it was to be a hit, it would have to get support from Radio 1 sharpish :heehee: Edit: Also great for little Dragon, saw them supporting the Gorillaz at the O2 last year, their really good Edited July 6, 201115 yr by DJ Gavin
July 6, 201115 yr Great to see Nero playlisted, otherwise a non-event for me. Am not liking the Calvin & Wolfgang drop out, the Nicki Minaj and JLS climbs and Tinie snub. Great to see Cher climb, I think R1 will be all over this which will help it get number one :)
July 6, 201115 yr :w00t: Cher on the rise! Also loving Rizzle Kicks, Nicki, JLS, Katy and Robyn moving/being added!
