All Fired Up is the best song after Ed and has the best video but The Saturdays seem cursed to never hit No 1.They seem to peak early and are sure to drop to 2 or 3.

Ed Sheeran's profile is only getting bigger, so I can definitely see that beating the peak of the A Team, it will probably have wider appeal than The A Team as well - simple lyrics, catchy chorus, radio friendly etc., so number 1 wouldn't surprise me

although this week I can still see Pixie getting it and then probably have a similar chart run to her other number 1s, its getting good airplay and pre-order sales, not her best song mind

Saturdays I think will shoot up initially, but slow down by the end of the week

I think the opposite way round really (apart from the catchy chorus). To me The A Team is more radio friendly. Heart would never play You Need Me, and I think it has more complex lyrics, along with more complex rhyming patterns, etc, and not to mention, simply more lyrics in the song, since in The A Team he takes about 30 seconds to get through 5 words. :drama:

It's incredibly catchy, but it's almost rapping in the verses. But then at times, like at the beginning, it's just like the A Team.

I can see it being bigger by not only having his new fanbase buying it, but also to those who found The A Team boring; they certainly won't find You Need Me boring.

that's what I mean really - his new one will only increase his appeal

I'm putting my money on Pixie. She has the best airplay, she's highest on pre-orders on iTunes and her YouTube views are higher than the others. Plus, her only uptempos to date have both gone #1 so she has a perfect track record. The Sats should be top 5 hopefully but I do think Leona will underperform.

And people do know that the Sugababes have pushed their single back to the 26th, right?

About the pre-orders, Leona only got added today and The Sats pre-orders aren't included in the album chart as it's listed as a single not an EP so we have no idea how well/badly they're doing on pre-orders. YouTube views mean nothing, really. Plus Pixie's song was released to radio weeks before The Sats + Leona, and even at that airplay doesn't guarantee hits.

Also Turn It Up was an upbeat of Pixie's and stalled at 11 (made me hate the World Cup even more <_<). I still can't call it, bar the fact the top 2 will be Ed Sheeran/Example from the week before, and Pixie/The Saturdays will be fighting for 3rd.
I think Leona will just pip Pixie to the top spot but both will have good sales figures. I think the Saturdays/Sugababes will go top 10/15 depending on how much the top 10 sell that week/how much airplay they get

Erm, Leona's song premiered 4 days after Pixie's... Anyway, I can't really see any of them getting #1, if I'm being honest. Hopefully Ed Sheeran will be #1 the week before, and extend his reign to this week.

Would it not be possible to change the poll to remove Sugababes (as they're releasing on the 25th) and make it who you think will be #1/who you want to be #1?

The Sats will get top 3 EASY. Not saying that everyone's the same but people wern't really fond of The Sats seem to love this with a passion.

I can see it selling 60k+ on release week but reckon Pixie Will get #1 and the Sats #2 with Leona coming in 6th or something.

Fair enough, but i'm sure in the case of Leona that radio stations were waiting to see what was happening with the court settlement before playing her.

I will give you the pre-orders point, but I do think YouTube views are a good indicator of interest in a track, and the likes/dislikes are also helpful. For Collide, the last time I checked there were more dislikes than likes which would make me believe a lot (if not the majority) of the views are people who heard about it through the Avicii controversy and aren't happy about it. And while Pixie may have been sent to radio earlier than Leona and The Sats, that doesn't change the fact that she has the advantage.

There's no way to be certain of who will be #1, I am just giving some information that points to Pixie having the advantage over the rest. I do think Pixie will hit the top spot (either her or Ed Sheeran) but obviously, I'm not saying she definitely will.

I'm not sure about positions, but I think Pixie will get the highest peak, then The Saturdays, then Leona. But I expect The Saturdays will outlast the other two by quite a bit and probably get the best sales.
Yes, I agree. I do think Pixie will get the #1 but I expect her sales to be very frontloaded and so will Leona's. The Saturdays should stick around a bit.

I find it funny that people don't think Pixie has number one sealed, she's got a large fanbase, her airplay already is top 20 in both and more than Ed Sheeran & Calvin Harris. The Saturdays will debut top 5.. I don't even think Leona will get top 5 in all honesty!

None of the four songs will become a huge hit imo. Considering the low sales all should get top 15 at least. Leona's song is the only one I can stand but it is not good enough either. I expect Leona will get a quiet no1 (60k-ish) but Collide will be forgotten soon enough. I hope her album has much better songs than Collide.

Do they have any good promo lined up?

Why are you so certain she'll get #1? She's hardly got the biggest fanbase of the four, she's only had one album after all.
