Has anyone mentioned "Gym & Tonic" by Spacedust yet?

Why should we? It's a good track. Well, maybe not the re-recorded version that made it to #1; but the original one (i.e., with the original Jane Fonda samples) is really funny, though.

I Kissed A Girl. Can't stand it, probably my least favourite song of all time. Can't really stand most of Katy Perry's stuff, although she has the occasional ok track.

I hate that song aswell. I find it so boring, and it sold only because of its lyrics really. Quite a lot of people on here don't like it.

I really can't fault "Babycakes", apart from the horredously cheesy video. :puke2: And quite frankly, I think the hate for it comes from the fact that it held off The Libertines's "Can't Stand Me Now" from the top spot. Since that was easily the Libs's only decent song by far, it does end up being quite a shame.

 

I have never heard the Libertines track before yet I can not stand Babycakes, it is just awful. I hate pretty much everything about that song.

 

Another one I can't stand which got a lot of love is Fatboy Slim Praise You. The vocals just annoy me.

Oh god YES. How did I miss this for so long, it's just total shit :puke: We ALWAYS had it played in assembly/at parties in school and everyone looked at me like I'd announced I was serial killer or something when I said I hated it. Got to be the worst song of all time for me, deffo in the top 3.

I'm sure you'd probably not hate Amarillo anywhere near as much if it weren't for its 'connection' to Peter Kay (who only appears in the video and doesn't actually sing on it, that's entirely Tony Christie's voice) and Comic Relief.

I do genuinely hate it, but yes, if the song hadn't been so popular, I probably would've let it pass by, if you know what I mean.

 

And I do find it annoying in some of those songs where the lyrics are about a girl or something, but they name her. It just sounds so corny to me. :(

I do love Peter Kay though, I think it is just the widespread of it all, and having it forced on me so much. Plus the song anyway isn't my thing. I find the idea of dragging up a really old random song really stupid and miming to it in a video that wasn't even funny really stupid. But it was for charity so I guess the crapness of it all can be forgiven.

that song will always mean something to me, Mandy was the name of my babysitter and I remember my very young and tired self crying at that when I was at a Karaoke night :cry:

Apart from the current number 1,'Swagger Jagger',i also hate 'Praise You', 'Amarillo','Walk this Way' (horrendous Sugababes/Girls Aloud monstrosity),500 Miles (another horrendous comic relief effort lol) I like the Proclaimers on their own singing this but hate the comic relief version with a passion!!.I may as well add the Islands In The Stream song as well to my hate list (Vanessa,Bryn,Tom Jones) I tend to hate most Comic Relief efforts lol
