Might as well do this, as I haven't done it before, and we are halfway through the year. I'll do another at the end.

Besides, it's the iTunes thread. Is it really going to stay on topic? :kink:

I personally find 'Don't Hold Your Breath' bland. The chorus is the only interesting bit.

I thought the middle 8 was quite notable.

The chorus is amazing though. One of my favourite songs of this year so far. I could never get tired of it.

I think the chorus of Don't Hold You Breath and How We Roll are a bit similar.

ALSO. Random thing I noticed, but Adele and Nicole both do the same thing with their voices just before the choruses in Someone Like You and Don't Hold Your Breath.

And I prefer that Keri Hilson version of Don't Hold Your Breath really. The one with Timbaland's production.

Good to see Cher Lloyd number 1! (Although it was never not going to, was it?)

Hoping Nicki can stay top 10 on iTunes now! Please climb top 5, don't start dropping like Dev did...

And guess what, I love both of them.

I haven't heard Keri's version, actually. That should be something to check out.

My Turn! :D

Looking at these rates, it seems the overall least popular #1 here is probably Don't Wanna Go Home.

And guess what, I love both of them.

If you haven't listened to it, here it is. It was actually leaked onto the Internet early 2010. It shows how much work was put into making the song really:

I think I prefer this version really. I think it's more "Nicole" than the version she actually finished up with. Like, it's closer to the type of music she released in the Pussycat Doll days imo. It's more RnB.

I would've loved if all three of them released a version of the song together. I'm sure it would've been better than Scream!

Swagger Jaggers lead really isin't that impressive... Unless she gets a 15% lead come tomorrow, she might not get number one as she's only 5.5% ahead of Jls, She will be incredibly front loaded. The Wanted & Jls had such a bigger lead this time last week... to be fair the fact iTunes reverts every 10minutes may not be helping her.

Amazing

Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger (if no.1)

Awesome

JLS feat. Dev - She Makes Me Wanna

Jason Derulo - Don't Wanna Go Home

The Wanted - Glad You Came (Hate The Band Themselves Though, but they do have some tunes)

Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull - On The Floor

Good

Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath

DJ Fresh feat. Sian Evans - Louder

Jessie J feat. B.O.B - Price Tag

Pitbull feat. Neyo, Afrojack & Nayer - Give Me Everything

Ke$ha - We R Who We R

Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me

LMFAO feat. Lauren Bennett & GoonRock

Meh

Bruno Mars - The Lazy Song

Bruno Mars - Grenade

Awful, Dull, Boring

Rihanna feat. Drake - What's My Name

Adele - Someone Like You

cher seems to be only a tiny bit ahead of jls at the mo, she might not get her no1!!

it seems that the worst and shortest running no1s seem to be the held back tracks which initially sell a large amount then fall quickly...OA/OS is the way forward!!incidentally its always the same sort of artists that hold songs back...pop artists, artists who rely on getting to no1 to continue their career, and mainly british artists!!

Cher finished fourth behind One Direction, Rebecca and Matt - same place as Diana

technically cher should have finished 5th, but they changed the rules at the last minute to let the judges decide. but mary actually came 4th on public vote

WOW @ her lead :o shes has only been #1 for over a hour

where are these pop bars coming from? because i go on livepopbars.com and JLS are still around 94% and have been for hours. So where can i get an updated version?

I think she's safe for the moment :D ...
