I seriously hope MLJ does not go to #1, Maroon 5 don't DESERVE to have a #1. They can have them everywhere else in the world, fine, but I personally quite like them not having any UK #1s. WRETCH/EMELI ALL THE WAY.

I'd quite like Moves Like Jagger to get #1 tbh. A top 5 of that, Nero, Christina Perri, Wretch 32 and Emeli Sande would be too good to be true though! :o

Well it clearly isn't because that's what's going to happen. Personally I'm hoping for any Guetta song (LBG, Titanium or Lunar - not that that'll be anywhere near top 5) to fill up the fifth spot in place of M5 :P

I reckon Moves Like Jagger will get top 20 on release week (maybe top 10 due to bad sales) then I think it will climb as more people get to know it. And from then it will definitely go top 10.

I think it will be Emeli or Wretch anyway bre :) This is where 'Moves Like Jagger' get's #1 now  haha

At any other time, I'd say top 20 for Maroon 5 but with the bad sales it'll probably be at 8/9 but it will stick around for a while seeing as it's less known than Heaven/Don't Go, but it may not climb very far, the sales will get better for sure though.

Moves Like Jagger has unfortunately been too big everywhere else in the world to miss the top 5 here surely :( Especially with the low sales

Wouldn't be surprised if Wretch, Emeli and Maroon 5 take the top 3 knocking Nero down to 4/5 (depending on whether Christina overtakes them)

Then again, Waka Waka and Alors On Danse were huge in Europe and missed top 20 here :P But Xtina and Maroon 5 have cracked the US and Australia with MLJ so it'll deffo go top 10, I can see it sticking around for weeks as sales build, but as sales will increase overall in the coming weeks (big releases from Example, Ed Sheeran, Olly Murs, The Saturdays etc.) the position probably won't improve that much.
24. Nicole Scherzinger - Wet. I was thinking this could have broke the top 20 next week until I realised there is going to be many new releases. Wet's airplay is not very impressive tbh, I hope to see it get a price reduction to 59p or 79p. It's incredible how much a 20p difference is on downloading a song/ chart wise.

Actually official WET release date is August 28... So we can hope for a promo on TV only then.

I think Nicole is releasing "Dong hold your breath" as 2 US single at August 18 or so. So she will be one or two weeks busy at USA and only then come to UK

Heaven>>>>>>>>Moves Like Jagger>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Don't Go.

I'd love Heaven to get to #1, amazing song with amazing vocals and it'll be one of the best #1's of the year if it gets there. I hope Moves Like Jagger does well, as it's a bit different to what normally charts here and it will (hopefully) give Maroon 5 and Christina's careers a little boost and another top 5. Don't Go is just boring and quite a step down to Wretch 32's other hits. Plus that female voice in the chorus going 'yeeeeeeeah, yeeah, yeaaaaaaaaah, yeeeeah' is probably the most annoying 'sound effect' I've ever heard in a song.

Cher Lloyd is the current UK no.1. If she's no.1 then Maroon 5 definitely DO deserve a no.1. They're quite a good group with 3 solid albums but unfortunately they get brushed aside (like Xtina) for being 'has beens'. This is why I think it'll flop, because the UK (well, Radio 1 especially) are often very narrow-minded about these things. R1 will have seen that the song is by maroon 5 and Xtina and immediately decided NOT to playlist it.

Heaven >>>>>>>>>>>>> Moves Like Jagger >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Don't Go

(so same as Klumzee basically )

I do like Moves Like Jagger, it's the best thing M5 have ever done (though I've never really been a huge fan) but if I'm honest I prefer a lot of the stuff on Bionic. Don't Go is SO dull compared to the amazing Traktor and the pretty good Unorthodox, it's bearable but I wouldn't want it at number 1. Heaven is absoulutely stunning and it's Yasmin's On My Own (which was amazing itself) done better, I really hope it's number 1!
