I really hope Heaven makes it to the top. It sounds like something Massive Attack might make if they ever wanted to have a hit again. It would definitely be by far my favourite number one since Cee-Lo :wub:

I LOVE both songs, but I think I'd honestly prefer Wretch 32 to get it, since Heaven will probably have more longevity, and I felt bad when Unorthodox missed out.
I didn't, 'Unorthodox' was utter trash! His only decent single so far has been 'Traktor' imo.
Heaven or MLJ for no.1. More likely it'll be Heaven of the 2 though.

He hasn't had any good songs. 'Unorthodox' was really only saved by the sample and Example in all honesty. But even that's a bit bleh.

It's probably getting snubbed because Dev is a talentless annoying wannabe rapper. She just hasn't done anything to earn my respect musically. I mean, collaborating with JLS? Releasing a single that is basically a LAG6 demo? :puke:

LOL. Have you even heard anything outside of singles? LAG6 is practically her song anyway as it samples one of her songs 'Booty Bounce'. As for collaborating with JLS I doubt she had any control of that.

Exactly. And Emeli has had more top 10 hits from before on hip hpo songs anyway. And probably will have more in the future. I doubt many people will ask Wretch to write and sing a hook for them. :lol:

I was thinking the other day, that Dev must be really delighted that Far East Movement sampled her, because she's gone and had a full-on career off the back of that now! :o Having one of your songs sampled is probably quite an unusual way for an artist to break the mainstream really. :lol:

 

About the JLS song, I think it's quite probable that she came with the beat. Like they won the beat from RedOne in a competition or something, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a case of "Here's the beat, and, by the way, the bridge is sung by Dev". Like Timbaland used to do with Justin Timberlake. He'd make beats for people (e.g. Madonna and 50 Cent), but only if Justin Timberlake sang the hook.

 

will.i.am should do that with Cheryl Cole to help her break into the US. :lol: Although I imagine if he did that some people would probably just turn down his beats. :lol:

I doubt she did either, she sounds so ridiculously bored on her rap/verse.

I ADORE Moves Like Jagger. I'm so glad it's doing so well. I predicted a Top 25 smash at best. Very very pleasing. I should check out this Emile Sande too.
Emeli so close! I think she'll make it, Heaven is highest on iTunes album Chart too! :)

Just download Emeli Sande's Heaven EP, If I love a song, even if I've already got it on my ipod I got to buy it officially, so I've basically deleted the free download version I had since a couple of weeks now.

 

I quite like Wretch's Don't Go, I'm just not sure if I should buy it, I don't mind listening to it but I feel like I've heard it so many times already, which makes me not want to download it for some reason, if that makes sense.

I think Emeli will probably either get there with single/EP sales combined or Wretch32 will begin to fall and Emeli will climb up, I can see her number 1 officially on Sunday either way.
