Thanks Bre, yeah of course I must of missed it! Brilliant news! :D What a chart run! I wonder when it'll leave top 10, next year most probably.

7th week?! Incredible, tbh i really think with a video this could climb 4 places to top 10, probably higher with a video which would most probably go #1 on TV Play. Oh well, they obviously dont want it to go top 10 :lol: It'll still sell well over 400,000 at the least, which is fantastic, probably more, I can see it selling well for a good few months.

 

A video unfortunately probably wouldn't go anywhere near #1 on TV airplay - to use a massive generalisation once used by vidcapper she's 'not the right colour'. (But in all seriousness it'd be a massive shock if a song like this got anywhere near #1 on TV airplay)

I still don't get what were they thinking when they didn't shoot the video for it. Maybe they fear that with another big top-5 Adele would suffer from overplay and from the fact people would get bored of her after that?

 

The song is brilliant, should've been top-3 at least.

She's succeeded in making the media basically (in implied terms) refer to artists that dare to dress up/ perform with showmanship or make something of themselves as "whores" and anyone that tries really hard or has ambition as "desperate"...I thought turning people off music videos (one of my favourite mediums) would be next on her list.

I really love the song now and now think it's up with DJ Fresh's best.

I have a feeling her and her management team might go down that route...

 

But as others have said, her songs are being released in a different order in every country. The logical thing to do for her is release a music video when the song gets released in the US.

 

Apparently MTV are playing SFTTR anyway. Some people have said there's this clip of a live performance of hers that they play or something.

Really? I think it may, even if it didnt I'm sure it'd get huge support and see it get that top 10 placing, but i guess its not important really, the song is doing really well and its already off a huge record breaking album so i'm sure they're probably surprised at how well its doing as it is :lol:
