August 21, 201114 yr love this! the backing track is really catchy. their faces make me laugh in the video though, neither of them look like they know what they're talking about.
August 21, 201114 yr Totally agree. She owes them nothing really. Just for buying an album that is amazing and personal and deserves all the success it gets. Who cares if a song songs have video. Thats hardly counted as payback. Im sure there is a reason. True, it's not like they helped her become successful and got nothing in return. No one forced them to buy the album.
August 21, 201114 yr I think 'Dub on the Track' has been heavily criticised for featuring Ghetts - a rapper famous for lyrics about death and violence; so a collaboration with him certainly wouldn't be adopted onto the radio playlists. I am quite looking forward to hearing the next official single though - see the extent to which it'll divide fans again. It's done quite well to have only fallen (1-3-11) - I was expecting a bigger drop to something like #16. I also predicted correctly when I said DJ Fresh would still sell more than Minaj (the 'almost Saturday chart' suggested vice versa).
August 21, 201114 yr This post takes my breath away i'm sorry. EVERY artist owes their fans A LOT for buying their music and tickets. They wouldn't have their careers and millions if it wasn't for them! But there is a limit. Just becuase she doesnt make a music video to her lastest song, isnt a big issue. Chill out.
August 21, 201114 yr 8 is too low a peak for a song this good -_- At least it isn't dropping fast and is holding up well on iTunes  (could spent a third week at number 8 next week lol)
August 21, 201114 yr Mumble groan at this. At least this'll be its last week as Rizzle Kicks' highest charting single
August 21, 201114 yr But there is a limit. Just becuase she doesnt make a music video to her lastest song, isnt a big issue. Chill out. A music video's not something "extra". It's standard. It has been for the past 30 years.
August 21, 201114 yr A music video's not something "extra". It's standard. It has been for the past 30 years. Not always - there are may examples of artists not doing a video. I agree though it can do alot of harm to a song though.
August 21, 201114 yr Ed Sheeran has climbed :D! After very briefly dropping out of the top 10 on iTunes earlier today it managed to edge Nero out and as such will probably manage an 11th week top 10 - whether it'll last one more to match LMFAO and Pitbull remains to be seen but it'll need to climb a bit to survive Example and, er, himself going top 10

August 21, 201114 yr HOW ON EARTH DOES ED SHEERAN DO IT? He is on the rise again this week, after 143 weeks in the top 10. Edited August 21, 201114 yr by Davidson
August 21, 201114 yr A music video's not something "extra". It's standard. It has been for the past 30 years. Its not that standard these days actually, now with the amount of songs that get in the chart without one. Stop making an issue that she hasnt made one and that she owes her fans. She paid her fans back by making one the the best albums of the year and one of the most successful albums in british music history. I think she fans have been paid back more than enough Edited August 21, 201114 yr by Dannyboy
August 21, 201114 yr A music video's not something "extra". It's standard. It has been for the past 30 years. I wouldn't say that, sometimes a song doesn't need a video in order for it to be a hit. Set Fire to the Rain is a song off an very popular album and follows a huge hit, so that alone has givne it enough exposure that a video isn't needed.
I don't think she's too worried about radio airplay for that song, since it's just an album track (despite having a music video, a bit like Game Over I suppose). All those people that like UK hip hop and dubstep will probably hate the song I think, because they don't want to be associated with Cher. And then all her fans that like pop music won't like it, because it probably won't sound very nice to them. I'm actually a bit worried for her tbh. And I wonder if even I will like the song.
August 21, 201114 yr Author Mumble groan at this. At least this'll be its last week as Rizzle Kicks' highest charting single  ;) they get a #1 next week with Olly and cough....
August 21, 201114 yr A music video's not something "extra". It's standard. It has been for the past 30 years. If you like music videos so much, you should become a 50 Cent fan! He said he's going to make a music video for every song on his next album.
