Who's the next one to surprise us: Gareth Gates? ^_^

I have a long list of artists I want top 5 again by the end of the year! Anastacia, The Corrs, Stereophonics, Duffy, Dido, Arctic Monkeys, Outkast, Gwen Stefani/No Doubt, KT Tunstall, I could go on!

Fat chance for most of them. I'll content myself with Maroon 5, Christina and Will.

We've had British #1's ever since Example knocked off Jason Derulo two months ago. :o

Scottish kitsch-dance producer, Calvin Harris, burst on to the UK music scene with his tongue-in-cheek single, "Acceptable In The 80s", which reached number 10 in the UK singles chart. A blend of retro synth sounds, and knowing lyrics it set the template for Harris' debut full length, I CREATED DISCO, released in June 2007. The album was preceded by Harris' second single, "The Girls", which upping the ante with it's ironic claims of sexual attractiveness--set to a synth sample from the Human League--the single shot top number 3 in the single charts. - HMV

this song is AMAZING. 'bounce' got boring very quickly for me, but this is different. the moment the first verse finishes and the beat kicks in is just so strong.
why??

It's very different to most of the chart hits from this year. 70% of the chart hits this year have been club bangers like S&M, Born This Way, Don't Hold Your Breath, Party Rock Anthem, On the Floor, Give Me Everything, etc.

Don't Go is VERY out of place in all that.

Nowhere near Olly's best song but i'm happy it got to #1.

So it's between him, Maroon 5, Ed and Example for #1 next week!

Feels So Close is a grower, I really like it now, and Olly's song is a deserved number 1 too :D so yeah, great top 2!

And Olly Murs, Ed Sheeran, Example top 3 would be amazing imo!

yeah now i know what you mean....sounds strange but it sort of reminds me of a down beat version of tinie-written in the stars cos of the two vocalists and their different sound.

none of the new releases this week and last has made me very excited...im not sure weather to download calvin, olly,ed sheeran and example.....i like them but not enough to download them if you know what i mean????

Pretty good tune, has the feel of "The Importance of Being Idle" from Oasis.
