Some here are saying it's a slightly disappointing entry position, but nothing quite as dramatic as a failure I just read about 4 or 5 posts in a row saying something akin to "OH NO, this is not what I expected for Ed. I hope this doesn't mean his album's going to do awfully" etc. etc. It just seems a bit irrational. (Not that I care either way about him or his music.)

September 4, 201114 yr I have a feeling Ed Sheeran's album is going to be major, although I can see the single having a pretty poor chart run and slipping behind 'The A Team' within a month (shame as I do think it's better and more individual). Example's song is really mediocre compared to some of his past stuff, especially the last single. :(

September 4, 201114 yr Considering the song was written and first released in 2008, a good year before the whole UK rap scene blew up commercially (and hence the Cilmi namecheck - nice that he left that in there!), I'm inclined to disagree! I haven't listened to it myself, but apparently there were extra verses in the original aswell. I wish he kept them in, but the song would've probably ended up rather long. :lol:
