September 16, 201114 yr Thanks for the update :D Would anyone happen to know any sales figures of the top 5 since the monday update...or how close it is in terms of sales?
September 16, 201114 yr Is Turn Me On still in the top 40? It would be amazing if it managed 3 weeks in there as an album track! :o
September 16, 201114 yr Is Turn Me On still in the top 40? It would be amazing if it managed 3 weeks in there as an album track! :o Yep, it's 30+7. I wish Titanium could have done the same thing, that's Guetta's best song ever.
September 16, 201114 yr Yep, it's 30+7. I wish Titanium could have done the same thing, that's Guetta's best song ever. Thanks. :) Hopefully it hangs on until Sunday. Titanium is great too. I'm really eager to see what his 4th single is. It surely has to be one of those two songs. And hopefully the 5th will be the other one.
September 16, 201114 yr How is Olly still #4 when The Sats have been ahead of him all week? Exactly what I've been wondering
September 16, 201114 yr Olly has physicals, that probably makes a little bit of difference. The Sats' CD is no longer available from their website. Plus there are other download sites to think about.
September 16, 201114 yr How can Jealousy still be 11 when it's been climbing on iTunes and is now at #6!! Argh!!
September 16, 201114 yr How can Jealousy still be 11 when it's been climbing on iTunes and is now at #6!! Argh!! Because for a good half of the week including the week's biggest sales day he was outside the top 10 on iTunes.
September 16, 201114 yr Random question but does anyone happen to know why Joe McElderrys Classic album isn't eligible for the classic charts?
September 16, 201114 yr Because for a good half of the week including the week's biggest sales day he was outside the top 10 on iTunes. Yeah, and also its very close in sales between #10-#6 too so not much splittling those songs in that area. I'm sure Will will be #10 come Sunday though. Edited September 16, 201114 yr by Karma
September 16, 201114 yr Random question but does anyone happen to know why Joe McElderrys Classic album isn't eligible for the classic charts? Well, he's from the X Factor, so even if the album might be classical music, they wouldn't consider it so (and if they did consider it a classical album, they'd probably get complaints about it, which might be why they don't). It happens in the charts for other genres aswell. Say, if Britney Spears sang over a Foo Fighters instrumental and released the song, I doubt it'd be eligible for the rock chart, for example, even though it would be a rock song.
September 16, 201114 yr Random question but does anyone happen to know why Joe McElderrys Classic album isn't eligible for the classic charts? Because not all of it is proper classical music. The classical charts are *very* strict.

Fair point, but since X Factor he's done Pop Star to Opera Star, he's now signed to a classical label (Universal Classic and Jazz) and 8 out of the 12 tracks on Classic are either opera or classical crossover songs.
