September 14, 201115 yr Skylar's been moved down a list? How bizarre :o Some decent-ish additions, good to see Lana Del Ray get a spot on the main playlist most of the other additions are predictable but nice enough. Why do AATW keep shoving Ola's All Over The World back, are they still hoping for Radio 1 playlisting? I can't see it happening
September 14, 201115 yr Saturdays out already? Ouch How ridiculous. I guess Radio 1 just didn't like the song. Nice to see Kreayshawn gone and Marina moving up.
September 14, 201115 yr LANA DEL RAY :w00t: Yay for Gaga, Sak, Coldplay, Delilah, GCH/Adam, Marina, RD, Joe, Matt, Nero and Nicki too! Not good Skylar's already down a list and also ouch at AFU dropping off already...
September 14, 201115 yr I could see Ola getting on the R1 playlist actually. I've heard Scott Mills playing it. A while ago, granted, but still... I sort of expected R1 to snub Matt but now he has R1 support I think top 2 is guaranteed and a likely #1 depending on how well Gym Class Heroes do. Good to see Nero and Laidback Luke/Example on the playlist. :D Not too surprised at The Sats being dumped - at least it wasn't knocked off on release week. Shame Gucci Gucci has been such a huge flop :( Woo for Sak Noel and Coldplay climbing :D Edited September 14, 201115 yr by Bré
September 14, 201115 yr Author Scott Mills plays it on Floorfillers sometimes. But he's probably the only one who likes it at Radio 1
September 14, 201115 yr Such a shame they have snubbed the Sugababes - I still think they'll get top 10 anyway (but I know many people don't think that!). Glad to see Marina up to B :D
September 14, 201115 yr I'm so excited for Loca People being A-listed :w00t: :w00t: Also great to see Nero and Example being added, although even with R1's hammering of Nero I have a feeling it'll chart only between 30 - 40 considering the front-loadedness of their singles so far. :( Example should easily be a top ten when that's released properly (I say properly because the album version's already out)
September 14, 201115 yr Delighted for Laidback Luke/Example, Nicki Minaj, Timbaland and Nero!!!! Weird about what happened to Skylar Grey. :( I hope they move her song back up. It's brilliant. Is the Timbaland song now just "Timbaland ft. Pitbull"? I'm sure before it was "Timbaland ft. David Guetta & Pitbull". That's how they always announced it when I've heard it on the radio so far, but earlier this morning I saw it didn't credit David Guetta on US iTunes, and now Radio 1 also aren't crediting David Guetta. It'll be interesting to see how Nero do with their next single, now that they can't hold it back. It's a great song, so I hope it does well, but I can easily see it missing the top 20. :( Edited September 14, 201115 yr by Eric_Blob
September 14, 201115 yr The biggest highlight for me this week is Lana Del Rey promoted to C-list. Next week B-list. Following week A-list. Then UK #1... :D I don't see why it can't happen with full support from radio and TV music channels.

September 14, 201115 yr I wouldn't bet on it going C-B-A. That's rare even for established artists. Hasn't Sak Noel progressed C-B-A since being added to the Radio 1 playlist three weeks ago?

September 14, 201115 yr Hasn't Sak Noel progressed C-B-A since being added to the Radio 1 playlist three weeks ago? It has, but one example doesn't disprove my point. I didn't say it's impossible, it's just rare. C-B-B-A is more common but I don't personally see Lana even getting to A. We shall see anyway.
September 14, 201115 yr on Lana Del Ray, her song is 43 on pre-orders alone :o could this be a shock hit? (although admitedly I don't know anything about it yet!) Coldplay straight to B list  great to see Sak Noel and Delilah climbing and Example and Nero added - I'm surprised but glad to see them supporting Matt, I thought they'd snub him, especially this morning when I heard Gary Barlow saying to Chris that he wanted to hear Matt Cardle's song as he hasn't heard it once on the radio, and then Chris and the team getting a bit hesitant and saying 'but we were gonna play songs by artists from you're charity gig' etc. Edited September 14, 201115 yr by C.W
September 14, 201115 yr Lana Del Rey up to C-List. Awesome. It's grown on me a lot. It could actually be a hit now. :D Actually quite liking the playlist this week, with Matt and Nero added, and Coldplay and Sak Noel getting deserved moves up.
September 14, 201115 yr on Lana Del Ray, her song is 43 on pre-orders alone :o could this be a shock hit? (although admitedly I don't know anything about it yet!) Is it? :o I could see her maybe having Paloma Faith type success. We're all looning over thanks to Buzzjack Song Contest  It won in July. It's a piano ballad, she has quite smoky vocals and it sounds quite old fashioned. Edited September 14, 201115 yr by Liаm
September 14, 201115 yr I can't see Lana not going A List now to be honest, piano ballads have had something of a resurgence this year and this is incredibly classy and a brilliant example of the genre. I could see it being a rather sizeable and long running top ten hit actually!

I could see it being a rather sizeable and long running top ten hit actually! I change my mind then as my gut instincts are never right when they disagree with gooddelta (aside from when I predicted Example would comfortably beat Ed Sheeran). :D But if I do turn out to be right I'm going to count that as a moral victory for myself anyway.
