October 19, 201113 yr Here's my edited possibilities based on the release schedule: 9 Oct: Matt Cardle (Run For Your Life) Cee-Lo Green (Cry Baby / Forget You) 16 Oct: Katy Perry (The One That Got Away) The Wanted (Lightning) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23 Oct: Kelly Clarkson (Mr Know It All) Professor Green ft. Emeli Sande (Read All About It) Bruno Mars (It Will Rain) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 30 Oct: Beyonce (Countdown) Cher Lloyd ft. Mike Posner (With Ur Love) 6 Nov: Jessie J (Who You Are) JLS (Take A Chance On Me) 13 Nov: Pixie Lott ft. Pusha T (What Do You Take Me For) Rihanna ft. Calvin Harris (We Found Love) 20 Nov: Britney Spears (Criminal) Kelly Rowland (Down For Whatever) X Factor Finalists (Wishing On A Star) 27 Nov: James Morrison ft. Jessie J (Up) Olly Murs (Dance With Me Tonight) 4 Dec: Rebecca Ferguson (Nothing's Real But Love) 11 Dec: Adele (Rumour Has It / Turning Tables) They are just some possible performances :) The first bit of Cee Lo's performance was the album track 'Satisfied', not 'Cry Baby'.
October 30, 201113 yr JLS and Florence + The Machine are next weekends guests (6th Nov) One Direction are reportedly performing the weekend after (13th Nov) Edited October 30, 201113 yr by Encore
October 30, 201113 yr Adele may not be on (apparently cancelled all promo left in 2011) due to her needing a throat operation. :(
October 30, 201113 yr Someone on DS said it would be Westlife, One Direction and Jessie J on the 14th. Yawn. :(
October 30, 201113 yr Pixie's album has been pushed back to the week after the single rather the same week as was planned, so 14th November. But I don't think she'll have a slot to promote the album, One Direction, The Collective and Jessie J are out so I imagine they'll be the 3 guests. Westlife will likely/hopefully miss out. Gutted The Saturdays will miss out AGAIN though :( The week after (The Sats album release) is the release week for the charity single, plus Olly Murs and Kelly Rowland have singles out so that's the 3 slots taken again!
October 30, 201113 yr Someone on DS said it would be Westlife, One Direction and Jessie J on the 14th. Yawn. :( Really? Link? I can't find anything on DS saying that. It'd make more sense to have Westlife, One Direction and The Saturdays and make it a 'groups week' or something. Plus they seem to be pushing Little Mix/the whole girlband vibe on the show this year too. Westlife again though - mega yawn. Not surprising to see Jessie J on the show though if this is true. October 30, 201113 yr I'm sure The Collective were confirmed for an XF performance a while ago? So unless they're not performing until the next week... (I really hope not because that means OD have a higher chance of beating them to #1 :puke:)
October 30, 201113 yr the collective will beat 1D all day. It is for charity so regardless of loyalties to acts we should all back it as the proceeds go to an amazing charity. apparently jls moved the release of their single to avoid the collective and 1D which i find amusing. matt cardle should perform again, hopefullt get another top 10 and boost album sales. i wonder whether gary might even duet with one of his acts on the night of the final (obv if they are still in)
October 30, 201113 yr I don't blame JLS for moving their release date. A #3 hit would not look good on their chart history (1-1-6-1-1-8-1-3). They want to keep that streak going for as long as possible :P I hope they get the #1 album this time, 'She Makes Me Wanna' is my second favourite song of theirs (behind EWS, so it's my favourite JLS lead single) and 'Take A Chance On Me' is much stronger than their previous two ballads. Looking forward to the 3rd single to see if it continues the run of being better than the previous two. Their third singles are always the best ones. Edited October 30, 201113 yr by Bré
October 30, 201113 yr I agree. I was very impressed when I heard Take a Chance on Me. Their Winter song from last year (can't even remember its name now ) was incredibly boring to me, but this is much better imo.
October 31, 201113 yr I always seem to prefer JLS' second and third singles. The lead singles always seem 'rushed' to me - 'The Club is Alive' and 'She Makes Me Wanna' in particular. 'Everybody in Love', 'Love You More' and 'Take a Chance on Me' are all much better releases. At the moment only JLS have been confirmed for next week - so Florence may not be performing as we expected.
October 31, 201113 yr So now Gaga and One Direction have been confirmed for Week 6. Confirmed where? (Also, what will Gaga be performing? Marry The Night I assume? Seems a bit early for that, I thought they'd save her for a performance on the grand final). Surely The Collective will be performing as well anyway? I don't see why they'd snub a charity performance that involves 2 of the judges. Plus I'm almost certain it was confirmed for an XF performance a few weeks ago! Edited October 31, 201113 yr by Bré
October 31, 201113 yr Westlife wont have an easier time of getting a slot compared to other years. They're not signed to Syco anymore and they've cut ties with Louis. The last single they performed there was a flop if i'm right.
October 31, 201113 yr Westlife wont have an easier time of getting a slot compared to other years. They're not signed to Syco anymore and they've cut ties with Louis. The last single they performed there was a flop if i'm right. The song is written by Gary Barlow though. I think they will get a slot.
October 31, 201113 yr X Factor boy group One Direction will be returning to the show in a few weeks time, it has been claimed. The boys, together with Lady GaGa and JLS will all be performing on upcoming live shows in November. This weekend will see Florence and the Machine perform new single No Light, No Light on the show, while JLS – who finished as runners up in 2008 – will be singing new track Take A Chance On Me. The week after One Direction will be back a year after finishing third during last year’s final to perform new song Gotta Be You. The boys will be joined on the show by US star Lady GaGa, XFactorUpdates reports toda FFS, No Saturdays or Pixie Lott.
October 31, 201113 yr The song is written by Gary Barlow though. I think they will get a slot. That'll guarantee them another flop then
