Yeah, it reminds me of one of the Grease songs aswell. The one where they go "Tell me more tell me more".

(20) What A Life-Noel Gallagher's Flying Birds

Better tune from Noel than his last hit.

Good top 2 this week. WOuld obviously prefer Maroon 5 at no.1 but like many have said the 1D track really isn't that bad especially considering other recent no.1s.

(1) What Make You Beautiful-One Direction

Better tune than I thought from them.

Just had a look at the T100 and noticed Coldplay didn't debut with 'Paradise'. I was under the impression it was released on Monday/Tuesday - and considering it climbed into the T10 on iTunes should definitely have made an appearance - reckon the Official Charts Company have made an error there. It's definitely an error as 'Body & Soul' was released midweek too - and that debuted at #40.

We have already explained this - Paradise is ineligible as it is being given away free when the album is pre-ordered.

Sorry - had been away from the thread since 5/6pm. That's a real shame then, especially as all those who paid the 79p aren't having their sales accounted for in a chart position.

I know :(

Or 69p via amazon.

On a related note, how many people buy a track in order to "have their sales accounted for in a chart position"? I know I don't, I just buy what I like and if it charts well, that's a nice extra.

With all seriousness, I gave WMYB a listen, and it's pretty damn good. I agree with all of the Grease comparisons, it seems that the majority hate the song just to hate it. Pretty boys CAN sing (sometimes) and they deserve the success this song is having.

Also, :( at the lack of Paradise. Stupid rules. By the time Mylo Xyloto is released, the hype will be completely dead.

I wish I could say I just hate it because it's them, but after listening to it several times with a completely open mind, I've come to the conclusion that it is in fact awful. I hate 'Summer Nights' (and indeed everything to do with Grease) as well so maybe that's why as they're practically identical.

Count yourself lucky you didn't have to live through songs from Grease being number one week after week after week

"Summer Nights"

"Summer Nights"

I think you've chosen the wrong smiley. You meant to choose the first one on the next row. That is :puke2:

That'd be why. I absolutely love Grease.
