SEXY AND I KNOW IT FOR #1.

JK, I haven't even heard it yet. I'm sure it's better than 'Moves Like Jagger' though.

Impossible. It's LMFAO

All jokes aside, it wouldn't surprise me it it overtakes MLJ with the luck it's been having. Good to see it back at no.1 though even though I love Iris too.

I've just seen the LMFAO video  ... Has to be the worst thing to penetrate my ears and eyes this year. I'm off to go listen to Swagger Jagger which now seems like an epic masterpiece in comparison.
I hope LMFAO dosn't get number 1. We've had enough rubbish at number 1 over the past few months like Swagger Jagger, One Direction, JLS, Dappy, etc. Iris/Moves Like Jagger for number 1. Although it maybe a bit too late for Iris :(
It's about time we had a second decent number one of the year. 'Party Rock Anthem' shouldn't be left on its own.

I am LITERALLY praying for sarcasm here. :puke2:

I am also praying that you can see my sig. I can't. :arrr:

argh. if it was 'one day' instead of 'sexy and I know it' then I'd not be complaining, I'd be supporting it infact as it's brilliant. however, 'sexy and I know it' is pretty annoying and there are parts of the song and video that make me cringe. -_-
I'm fairly sure that was sarcasm... At least I hope so.

I knew RFC was being sarcastic about liking PRA - so I was being sarcastic back :P

I'm think the reason they chose Sexy and I Know It was because it got cherry-picked so much in the UK and Australia when the album was released, so they thought it was popular (although the real reason it was being cherry-picked in the UK was because of an advert for a TV show, don't know if it was the same reason for Australia though).

I'm shocked at how fast it's climbing though. However, I don't think it'll get to #1.

James Morrison is 9 and 25 with I Won't Let You Go! Doing very well

 36. Nero "Crush On You"

Am shocked at this, could it actually become a hit? :o Was expecting a peak of 32 tbh but can it get further up the chart?

Yes, Nero are doing very well considering they couldn't hold this song back to front-load it. It's a brilliant song aswell, and taking off very quickly (which is good since Promises left the chart very quickly ).

Example's next single not doing very well though. :( It's a great song aswell, but maybe it'll peak a few weeks after its release date.

It does seem to be shaping up to actually be a decent-sized hit. Really hoping for it to be a fourth top 15 (or at least a fourth top 20) hit for them. Although it's nowhere near as good as their first four singles :(

Hell, maybe it'll even outsell Promises  All their other singles except Innocence have.

Natural Disaster is not Example's next single, it's a single for Laidback Luke which happens to have been included on Example's album. I believe 'Midnight Run' is the third single from Playing In The Shadows. (Although I can't see that doing very well either to be honest :()

was LMFAO performed somewhere or something? it seemed to just come out of nowhere into the top 20 :o shame Iris is off number 1, but it's held up so much better than I thought, so that's good

It's just the video rapidly gaining support I think, 'Party Rock Anthem' climbed this quickly as well (the difference being PRA was completely unknown before it suddenly shot out of nowhere and went top 3 then #1 for 4 weeks)

-x-

'Rolling In The Deep' seems to be properly falling for the first time ever, it's down to #70 - I can't see it disappearing from the top 100 any time soon but it could move down from its 40s-50s weekly positions to 60s-70s ones now.

EDIT: Of course, it may just be because loads of 59p stuff has overtaken it. But I think it is falling anyway.

Broken Strings back in the top 40 :D Much to Bre's dislike

Meh, at least it's not his highest entry - his best single ever is doing significantly better :D You Give Me Something is also doing decently from being 59p.

As of the last LPB update Sak Noel's three versions add up to ~111.1% (coversely, Maroon 5 are ~90% of Sak combined).
Is Loca People increasing or decreasing (in comparison to Moves Like Jagger)? If it's increasing, maybe it'll get 2 weeks at #1.

I think it is increasing actually :o Not very quickly at all though.

Its increasing isn't it? Next week could be quite close, I'd love MLJ to do it but I've always thought Sak Noel would likely be #1 for 2 weeks. Having said that, Sak's EP sales are decreasing and and I can see his lower versions beginning to fall after the weekend so it could go either way at the mo IMO

I said this before, but either way we'll either get a climber to #1 or a song spending more than one week at #1, both of which will be a first in quite a long time. I'd rather Moves Like Jagger get to #1 next week if Sak Noel gets #1 this week though, mainly because I've been saying it will get to #1, and I don't want to be proven wrong. :kink:  And also because it's sold so much, it's a bit unfair if it never gets #1. And also just for the lols of Christina Aguilera getting a #1 when many of us thought her career was over this time 6 months ago. And also just so people stop complaining about it getting beaten to #1 by frontloaded songs every week! And also just to continue the 1 weekers. I want to see how long we can go on for. It's funny how last year it was Alexandra Burke that got the first 2 weeker. The last person you'd expect really (especially considering what the song was). It'd be funny if this time it was Cher Lloyd or JLS or something.

Okay, well evidently there's quite a lot of reasons I want Moves Like Jagger to get to #1.
