I really don't see Shake It Out going top 5 at all.

At least we don't get credits like 'Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Natasha Bedingfield, Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, Carrie Underwood, Keyshia Cole, LeAnn Rimes, Ashanti and Ciara' any more :P

 

The closest we've got to that recently is 'Tinchy Stryder feat. Chipmunk, Tinie Tempah, Devlin, Example, Professor Green and Giggs' and 'Lethal Bizzle feat. JME, Wiley, Chipmunk, Face, P Money, Ghetts and Kano'.

 

Ha. True. :lol: There's also those Kanye West songs.

 

And I thought of another one, I'm On One by DJ Khaled ft. Drake, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne.

 

I coincidentally heard a new Lethal Bizzle song on the radio a couple of days ago. I highly doubt it will chart though. I think people felt they had to buy POW 2011 since all his fans basically forced him into making it. :lol:

I think Shake It Out, Radioactive and Invisible could all go top 10 (and deserved, all are brilliant :wub: )

I must be the only one who thinks Radioactive will probably end up at #27 or something.

 

As for Florence, I haven't heard or seen her song anywhere and it's safe to say she's hardly a singles artist. Probably top 15 but plummet during the week.

I haven't seen or heard 'Invisible' anywhere. I'm still predicting it to be a top 10 hit though.

 

And Florence + The Machine are more of an albums act than a singles act but I wouldn't say they're flat-out NOT a singles act, 'You've Got The Love' and 'Dog Days Are Over' were both very high sellers (despite the latter's low peak) and 'What The Water Gave Me' managed to go top 10 on iTunes with practically no airplay at all so it's hard to believe 'Shake It Out' will miss the top 10 with some airplay.

 

Its lack of presence in the top 200 albums as a pre-order is slightly worrying though.

I think Florence + the Machine have had 2 songs at #1 on iTunes, so you never know.

 

I think Marina + the Diamonds will miss the top 20. Hollywood got much better promotion than this, and it's a better song.

same here :( it would be nice to have it outpeak 'hollywood' though, it's got radio 1 support and it's a lot more fitting with the pop music in the chart nowadays. I wouldn't be surprised if it went something like 27-38-58-x though. -_-
