I'd put money on it not being #1. It has a decent chance at #2 though. And it'll obviously be #1 next week unless something drastic happens.

Cue Rihanna bringing her release forward

Chasing Cars

well, looks like Maroon 5 will finally get number 1, what a dead week for releases :( I have to say I prefer the original of Wherever You Will Go to that cover however anything to get that song back in the top 40 is fine by me I guess

He Wont Go & Dont You Remember were performed last night too, not the greatest of performances though. Also Set Fire To The Rain & Turning Tables were used in the background. AND a clip of Jade singing Somone Like You at her first audition. Adele domination. :heehee:

Somone Like You  #29! Is it the help of the real video? Wow climbed 11 places! Even if its not being shown just word of mouth all over the internet.

Marina, Florence and Skylar are crawling up. Can't believe how poorly they're all doing so far, especially Florence  SIO could end up debuting lower than a midweek OA/OS release -_-

Really loving this cover of Wherever You Will Go, I knew there was a good song in there waiting to escape, I could just never tolerate Alex Band's voice, very much had a 'Chad Kroeger effect' on me...
No way! :( It's one of my all time favourite songs. I also loved 'Our Lives'. Shame that one is often forgotten about :(

Ha! I'd say the same thing, I haven't heard any of this version but I can't imagine it being anything other than at least 100 times better than the original purely because it doesn't have THAT voice on it!
I think you'd like the cover of it actually. Give it a listen :P

Oh and mega :manson: at how poorly Skylar is performing. I am actually disgusted. :(

Oh yeah and ofcourse Jade sang I Cant Make You Love Me (Adele covered at iTunes fest) and John performed Promise This (Adele arrangement - covered in the Live Lounge) :heehee:
As nothing else seems to be challenging the top 10, i guess LMFAO will enter :puke2: Surely they're not a threat to MLJ though?? :o

LMFAO and David Guetta will probably go top 10 during the week when James Morrison and Pixie Lott drop out. I think the top 10 effect would really help LMFAO, but I doubt it would get it to #1.

It's weird how Champagne Showers flopped and yet this new song (which is HORRIBLE :o It's got such a bad chorus) is top ten in America and about to go top ten here.

I think only one of Pixie/James will drop out during the week, to let LMFAO into the top 10 - Guetta is really far behind #10.

Champagne Showers is one of the very few songs that I find hard to actually listen to without turning it off halfway through. It gives me a headache  Haven't heard Sexy And I Know It yet but it surely must be better than CS.

Champagne Showers is EASILY the best song I've heard by LMFAO. Actually the singles off the first albums were all decent enough, but CS is the only song I've loved by them. It's baffling how they get hits with shit like PRA and SAIKI, I mean they're two of the worst songs of the year (imo of course) and people lap them up

The chorus of Champagne Showers is probably the reason why it flopped. Although I did grow to like it after a while.

The verses of Champagne Showers and the "chorus" of Don't Stop the Party would've been a good song. Although that could end up a bit too much like Gettin' Over You.

Champagne Showers is limp as hell, I still love Party Rock Anthem and have a soft spot for Sexy and I Know It too
That's no problem, just went on Amazon looking for Florence, and it's £2.09 on there. I forgot about amazon's download service

I can't understand why Amazon don't advertise their music download service on TV, pointing out that they are almost invariably 10-20p cheaper per track!

Sexy and I Know It *wiggle*wiggle*wiggle*

Hopefully Def Jam bring the release date for WFL forward by 5 weeks. The cover version is at #25 and by next sunday (if it is deleted already) it will probably be #11.
