May 20, 201213 yr This week was so much stronger than last week! I actually really enjoyed it again. And I honestly think Jessie is a fantastic coach. She really is the only one who gives some constructive criticism and you can see how passionate she is about the music. Glad to see Will gave some honest feedback as well this time. May 20, 201213 yr this show was absoultely HORRENDOUS are they trying to lose viewers? only Bo and Max actually did good and the team Danny performance looked so corny and laughable..........
May 20, 201213 yr The best people went through! I'm so glad Aleks Josh has now pissed off; I'm so surprised Bo got through on public vote though, and pleased that Danny picked Max again! Jessie's team other than Vince were weak overall, but I have enjoyed Becky a lot in previous weeks, so I'm glad with her team too.
May 20, 201213 yr Author Missed this as I was on holiday, but I watched the performances on YT quickly before the results! I agree with all the choices, I didn't mind Toni but she had little more to give, she's a bit safe. Cassius was just awful, boring and forgettable. Max is a bit overrated so I'd rather have had David but he's good so all's well. Most happy about Bo going through though - despite hating her as the lives began she's had two stunning performances so far, whereas my favourites (Ruth, who had one amazing and one awful performance, and Becky, who has had one good and one patchy performance) at the start have disappointed in some ways.
May 20, 201213 yr I think the right people got through. I was sorry for Aleks. The criticisms were perfectly valid but a little harsh. He seemed to receive fat stronger criticism than any of the others. Tom Jones as good as called him boring. That said, he should have done a better job of putting a brave face on it.

May 21, 201213 yr Out of the 8 for the semis there's only one I like left - Becky I just don't see what Danny's hype about Max is all about - I think he's really average - much preferred David any day. May 21, 201213 yr I have to say, Leanne was wonderful on 'Shake It Out'. :D Hadn't really thought all that much of her before then.I did have a feeling this would happen. People would start to notice her more once it got down to a memorable amount. She's brilliant and easily the best vocalist in the show, imo. Not seen the performance yet, but from what I heard both her and Ruth excelled on 'Shake It Out' (a bit dubious to believe the hype surrounding Ruth's parts as I find her incredibly overrated and cannot see why people like her yelling, but whatever. :lol:). EDIT: Just caught up. Leanne was indeed brilliant, Ruth wasn't as terrible as she has been previously either. Jaz is just as crap and as overrated as the first time I saw him. Tyler, was decent, but he's getting predictable with his falsetto stuff now too. Paloma's performance was fantastic too. :wub: Nice choices at who got through though. The public got it right (on both occasions), definitely. Jessie picked the right choice with Becky, but I think I would have preferred Danny to pick David over Max, but I liked all of his group a lot so I can't really moan with him choosing Max.
