Yeah it is unlikely Nirvana and Evanescence will make the Top 40 but you never know, hopefully they'll keep climbing.

I like 'Stereo Hearts' so I don't particularly mind it despite the Levine-age (it's even a #27 SMASH in my personal chart) :P I don't think SWBL will make the top 40 this week, it seems to me it's in a similar situation to The Calling the first time they were reduced - they seemed high enough to go top 40 but because they missed out on the biggest sales day they couldn't make it. They could quite possibly make the top 40 next week (a la Wheatus, which I coincidentally also detest) if they aren't put back up to 99p by then though :(

 

Mute button may have to be used twice this week if it does make it though.

I am still bitter on how Hush Hush flopped, it was amazing. It's a bit like Wet by Nicole Scherzinger (not the music) despite both having great peaks and sales for previous singles the failed to get radio support. I guess Wet has actually done decent though.

Someone Like You is back up to #40 from #41 when I did the update - it just doesn't want to leave :lol:

 

'She Will Be Loved' up to #25 :puke: The Calling's 'Wherever You Will Go' (which I agree is far better than Charlene's version) at #24.

 

I wonder if 'Feel So Close' can break back into the top 10 with its 59p boost? It's not a massive jump. I'm slightly concerned that 'Iris' could re-overtake 'The A Team' again, then TAT will just fall out whenever anything climbs in :drama: A 13th week in the top 10 is fairly safe for it this week but I guess it hanging on for a 14th next week would have been a bit too good to be true. I do hope it stays top 20 for at least another two weeks after this though so it will be the first song to have its first 20 weeks in the top 20 since quite possibly Wet Wet Wet in 1994.

 

Matt Cardle is holding up quite well, it's still over 30% which is not bad considering it peaked at about 36% and I don't think Rihanna has fallen much at all since then, she may have even increased.

"Paradise" is STILL at 21. Great longevity, if it had been held back I could imagine it flying to no. 1. Amazing song.

I'm glad I'm not alone in preferring the original of WYWG - Charlene's version is very nice, but her voice doesn't hold the same power and emotion of the original imo (which I will probably be laughed at for, but hey ho :P ), hearing that on the chart will be amazing, if its along with Fix You, Iris & maybe She Will Be Loved, then that top 40 will hold four of my favourite songs ever! :o
