Frankie was atrocious in that performance. As were Nu Vibe.

Johnny was owning that performance, though. And the rap in the middle was quite nice. :kink:

It's not the first song that comes to mind when I think group song, though. I could see they were struggling to give everyone something.

Seeing Johnny's performance again makes me strangely want to watch the whole thing over and over again.
I loved it! Sophie sounded amazing singing it!

She was the ONLY one who didn't make me want to stab my ear drums.

Not sure if this has been posted. I've only just got in, had a bacon, tomato and mayonnaise baguette, and am catching up on my 'browsing'! This girl has broken the 'gagging order' all contestants are under.

Yes I know its the Daily Mail and you may take it with a pinch of salt - although to be honest - I think the girl is just telling everyone what we already suspected. It gives you at least a better understanding of the judges in that they have little or no say at all. The only people who can make a difference are the people who vote - but by this time - they've missed the opportunity of having any genuine talent put before them.

PS - my baguette was bloody fantastic - now that DID have the X Factor!

Nu Vibe is pretty much a given for bottom two.

The other spot could be very interesting. Have a feeling Sami might be in trouble.

Are we able to download the group performance? That was one of my favourites ever! Even though it was mimed :(

Were those Wanted stats really correct?

This isn't as bad I thought it would be actually. Lots of screaming though in the audience! Are they miming the chorus? Sounds louder than the verses.

When approximately do the actual results get given out (if I tune in for 8:45 - will I catch them.) Hubby's watching an antique episode of the Antiques Roadshow but he says he'll let me have the remote for a short time - so I don't want to miss my window of opportunity.

The Wanted are quite atrocious live aren't they? Could barely even hear one of the verses.

I just came to ask that as well! Seemed highly inflated to me...

I don't even bother watching the guest acts, boring filler.

As for what goes on in X Factor, of course any artist worth they're salt wouldn't touch this show.....but it can still be entertaining on a basic level. Plus it's not like these contestants can't sing.

All the shocks & drama is more like a soap opera than anything else.

Ugh, I wish they'd stop shoehorning in pointless raps just because there are some rappers on the show. I suspect the same will happen in all the group performances -_-

The Wanted were nothing special, it sounded exactly the same as the studio version and it's a dull song. Moving on.

Did the introduction say they have '3 number one smashes'? That's a bit presumptuous. Lightning isn't guaranteed the #1 yet. (Well, it practically is, but anything could happen)

Hmm. Lightning is a good song, well, probably my second favourite of theirs after Lose My Mind (WHICH WILL NEVER BE BEATEN), but the performance sounded a bit off. It was quite powerful, but it's nowhere near the best performance I've seen on X Factor.

they are much better than they were last year but need singing lessons The Risk put them to shame.

Johnny to go please his cats miss him.
