October 20, 201114 yr I have never picked a fight with anyone. I'm just the same as anyone else here giving an opinion. I don't agree with a lot of people's opinions but I thought the point of forums were for people to put their points of view and for others if they feel the need to put a counter argument. Everyone here has favourite artists they that do this with. Its called a discussion. And again I just think people should read what I actually say before jumping on me for saying quite inocuous things. Sure, but you have to understand that people will disagree with you, and these things tend to get very heated if people get TOO WORKED up about them. Point made?
October 20, 201114 yr If this doesn't stop the thread will be closed until Tom or Spidey opens with the Friday update tomorrow morning.
October 20, 201114 yr If the bickering starts again I shall close the topic till the morning. Now please get a room.
October 20, 201114 yr Pleased to see Rihanna overtake The Wanted, I know it was to be expected but it's certainly a relief!
October 20, 201114 yr I was annoyed by Rihanna when she beat Maroona, but all is forgiven this week. It deserves to stay number one this week.

October 21, 201114 yr Has Cliff Richard gone up from yesterdays position in the albums? Thank you 10 +14
October 21, 201114 yr Glad Rihanna's number 1 over the Wanted, and pleased that Guetta/Usher is Top 10 too.
October 21, 201114 yr Thank You. Just curious I'm not a fan but where is Katherine Jenkins album? It seems to be not doing as well as previous ones.
October 21, 201114 yr Could Steps be looking at a sales increase this week do you think? Doesn't look like it I'm afraid as it isn't showing a week-on-week sales increase in the MW mids database. :(
October 21, 201114 yr Fingers crossed for Seanlexis to get top 10 on Sunday then. They could do it, at the rate they've been rising.
October 21, 201114 yr Much as I try not to "judge a book by it's cover" I couldn't help expecting Lana Del Rey to be a really annoying dance track. So, when I heard it for the first time, my first thought was "not at all what I expected" ... sadly my second was "this track isn't really going anywhere" I find it deadly dull :(
October 21, 201114 yr Evanescence not dropping as much as I feared, it would have been truly embarrassing to fall out of the top 10 from #1 but hardly on a par with Bionic... and dropping there from #4 isn't too grisly really.
October 21, 201114 yr Fingers crossed for Lana to stay in top 10 until Sunday. Very promising! :) :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
October 21, 201114 yr Music week UK Midweek Chart Update: Gallagher to break through 100,000 sales barrier 11:45 | Friday October 21, 2011 By Paul Williams Noel Gallagher’s debut solo set is on course to become the first album for more than a month to sell more than 100,000 copies in a week in the UK after establishing a commanding lead on midweek sales figures. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, issued on the Sour Marsh label, had sold 94,447 copies up to the end of trading on Thursday since its release at the beginning of the week, more than 40,000 ahead of nearest challenger Letters by Columbia/Syco’s Matt Cardle. Sony’s Steps album The Ultimate Collection is in third place, according to Official Charts Company figures. The last album to sell more than six figures in a week was Asylum/Atlantic act Sheeran’s +, which debuted at number one in mid-September after shifting 102,350 copies. Columbia’s Kasabian were just 6,000 sales shy of 100,000 the following week after arriving at one with Velociraptor, but the last three weeks’ number one sales dipped respectively to 62,181, 36, 411 (both James Morrison’s Island album The Awakening) and 34,200 (Steps’ The Ultimate Collection). It remains very close at the top of the singles market between Def Jam/Mercury’s Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris single We Found Love and Global Talent/Island’s The Wanted with Lightning with the Rihanna track only around 6,000 sales ahead at the end of business yesterday.
