JESUS CHRIST, I don't dislike Will Young but I'm beginning to resent his presence in the charts as ever since he's come back the midweek threads have always seemed to descend into tedious arguments.

I know I said this about Matt last week but I think Kelly has a good chance of staying top 5. I won't really mind GCH being top 5 ahead of her though. I actually prefer 'Stereo Hearts' to 'Mr. Know It All'. But at the same time, SH is already a top 5 hit while MKIA isn't.

 

Yeah I dont mind, both songs are good. its quite a strong top 10.

The only ones being defensive is you and everyone else. Torresgirl just answered a question and the person asking, you and others are like attacking her about being "defensive" when she just simply answered a question, and you guys are the ones actually being defensive.

Mmmm really, too many comments? Are we talking the ONE about "Credible Cardle" as he has been named by Pop Justice? Its all starting to make sense now :) If not I have not idea what you mean as I am a Will Young fan and have never said anything negative about him and wouldn't. If I am defensive I dont think I'm any more so that people that ask you to produce "evidence of promo" when all I did was respond to someone who asked why Will Young had increased lately but each to their own.

I come onto this thread a lot and you make plenty of comment about Will, in fact you are there whenever his name comes up. :rolleyes: You seem to take delight in winding Will fans up. Why don't you just admit you are a currently a Joe McElderry fan? When Joe was higher in the album charts than Will you couldn't hide your delight, and now you are looking for reasons to play down Will's success. If you just admitted it then people would more easily understand why you also try to subtly put down others like Matt Cardle too.

if you read just todays conversation i can see why you think that. however this is part of a bigger picture. this poster came onto this site and did nothing but make snide comments about certain artists. when she was challenged on these comments she got defensive and nasty. at one point she claimed that she was basing her opinion on matt cardle on his music but then proceeded to focus all her comments on him as a person. im sorry if you think I just got involved tonight, but this is because I am sick of her picking fights with other posters.....

Half of the top ten are very strong (Riharris, Kelly, GCH, LMFAO, Christina) another three are average to okay (Charlene, The Wanted, Gusher), one I haven't heard yet (Lana - I did listen to it once when it was in BJSC but I don't remember much about it, I think it'd fit into the 'average to okay' category though from what I do remember) and one is absolutely terrible (I'll let you figure that one out yourself :lol:)

yeah the lana song i cant see as more than ok but average at the moment. but then i thought that about the rihanna song last week and now i love it! im not sure about LMFAO...

What a delight this thread becomes these days. I can understand why people are getting wound up.

 

Anyway we're going to have a three weeker this week, and I personally hope Rihanna clings on next week!

i hope rihanna holds on, itd be nice to see a long running number one. too many songs are getting to number one that keep getting outsold by songs that dont get to number one.

Do you see how ridiculous this whole thing is? You jump into a discussion between posters, and attack someone with "defensive" about stuff in the past, when they are CLEARLY not related.

 

Why make it personal, and attack the person when she has no clue what you are talking about, and you are just getting involved? Move on. Why are you holding grudges? Has the person done something to you in real life? Hurt you in some way? Do you even know the person?

 

If she was defensive or nasty or whatever in the past, makes no DIFFERENCE today. They are SEPARATE discussion, SEPARATE situation, SEPARATE circumstances. They don't relate to each other.

 

Move on, and it is ridiculous to hold grudges against forum members. FORUM members. A person you never met. Never saw. Don't even know the color of her hair. I don't even know if she really is a female in real life.

Sorry but how do you know what I am? Again I asked the last person who said that I try and wind Will fans up to find one negative thing I said and they couldn't. What I said today was the same as commenting that someones sales have increased on the back of an XF performance ie stating the obvious. Everyone knows I am a Joe Mcelderry fan so what is your point exactly? Of course I was happy Joe was doing well and it was a compliment that I was happy he was doing as well (in those weeks) as Will an established artist. I think if you go back far enough you will find where I posted that I was delighted that two people who could actually sing (Will and Joe) were no1 and 2 in the chart. So where am I putting down Will. I can understand people sticking up for their favourite artists but colloectively creating an illusion and making things up is just ridiculous.

 

As for Matt I do not like his personality and have stated he does himself no favours with his comments so but I have also made points in his favour on airplay threads (stating he could at least sing and that I didn't understand why Syco seemed to care more about the likes of Cher Lloyd) and said that although I didn't want him to get to no1 XF winners were judged to quickly and longevity is what counts. I don't understand why me liking Joe has anything to do with not liking Matt Cardle. Its not even like they were in the same contest or anything!

I have never picked a fight with anyone. I'm just the same as anyone else here giving an opinion. I don't agree with a lot of people's opinions but I thought the point of forums were for people to put their points of view and for others if they feel the need to put a counter argument. Everyone here has favourite artists they that do this with. Its called a discussion. And again I just think people should read what I actually say before jumping on me for saying quite inocuous things.

I don't know why people are making personal attacks now. I will like to bring in J.Lo. I think she is a J.Lo fan. And she is "downplaying" Will because of J.Lo, and "winding" Will fans because of J.Lo.
