October 18, 201114 yr Author ^ Yes, sales are always combined. Of Video Games and the EP, yes. But if people are buying Blue Jeans enough it could chart on it's own I think.
October 18, 201114 yr Yes it was just under 40k from what I remember and midweeks was about 26k number one slot. "It has sold another 23,000 copies so far this week to add to its 183,289 in first week of release, putting it ahead of new albums from Joe McElderry (Joe McElderry on Syco), The Wanted (The Wanted on Geffen) and Taylor Swift (Speak Now on Mercury)." That was about Kings of Leon so the midweek must be slightly less than 23,000 at least. Yes I am a nitpicker

October 18, 201114 yr Thanks Tom. Great to see Will's album still doing well at #15. :D I take it Jealousy is now out of the top #40. Still it's had a brilliant run. :D
October 18, 201114 yr Top 20 Peter Gabriel Explanation? He was on Later last week which may have boosted sales. There's a concert on Radio 2 on Thursday which may give another boost. Here's hoping :D
October 18, 201114 yr Tuesday Update Top 40 Only Singles Top 40 The Wanted [GYC] Looks like those are the EP or physical sales added to the B-Side of Lightning.
October 18, 201114 yr Author Thanks Tom. Great to see Will's album still doing well at #15. :D I take it Jealousy is now out of the top #40. Still it's had a brilliant run. :D Fraid so. Will, Lady Gaga (YAI and TEOG), The Saturdays, Adele (SLY) :o , Rizzle Kicks, Kanye, Ed Sheeran [YNMIDNY] and Timbaland are out of the top 40.
October 18, 201114 yr Author Looks like those are the EP or physical sales added to the B-Side of Lightning. Probably. Actually the chart seems a little bit off today, and they didn't give any sales data for the singles, maybe that's why.
October 18, 201114 yr So what is the general opinion on Matt's sales? I'm thinking they are quite low but could have been worse? By week end are we thinking the 28k will be doubled? Based on Joe's sales just as a guide he had low 20k's at this point so Matt has done a bit better. Edited October 18, 201114 yr by torresgirl
October 18, 201114 yr ^^Lana Del Ray and Noah and the Whale were also both on Later this week and doing pretty well. I wonder if it has been quite influential. Edited October 18, 201114 yr by mic
October 18, 201114 yr Looks like those are the EP or physical sales added to the B-Side of Lightning. I doubt it, it's only up 10 from Sunday and had been rising on iTunes, probably just due to the release of the new single, it's hardly uncommon.
