WOW. Not as impressive as the run for '21' of course but that is one serious chart run. This album didn't even do that well in the US did it?

Great to see '21' back in the top 5 :cheer: I was expecting it to have dropped out of the top 10 by now!

Also great to see Coldplay only dropping a place, hopefully it'll stay top 10 next week then shoot back up a few places after XF :D It's not holding up too badly after all.

N-Dubz GH smashing in at #38 - not too bad given the lack of promotion (not even a mention on XF) and the pretty big sales in the album chart now but still quite poor after their 3 studio albums got to #11, #6 and #7.

Sold 1,340,966 copies in the US so far.

So Bruno would probably have sold about 40k this week then. Could hit the million soon. Very much deserved.
"Doo Wops and Hooligans" has had a mental chart run, "+" looks like it might do similar. Nice to see Florence not dropping much and Noel actually climbing! :o

Yeah if McElderry has sold more than 35-40k for no15 in thealbums, sales are around where they should be - hopefully both the top 2 have broken 100k!!
Sold 1,340,966 copies in the US so far.

Given platinum is 1 million over there that's the equivalent of about 400,000 over here. That's not great at all given how huge he's been.

What a real boredom. This version is really bad imo :(
Sold 1,340,966 copies in the US so far.

Not very good at all then considering how massive he is singles-wise (although he's bigger singles-wise here as well, IWR aside it seems).

Charlene climbing? Yawn.

Oh yeah and great to see Olly getting to #1 with his second album :D Hopefully ICYDK can manage similar overall sales to OM.

Ed Sheeran tweeted that he sold more than 60k at #7 which is great, so Bruno Mars must be at least 40k plus for #10.

I find it terminally dull too. And she sings "whewever"...

Good to see this climbing this week, looks like it might miss the top 10 though :(

So if Joes album opened with more than his last one then sales must be massive in the album charts, if he is only #15? What did Classic open with again, I thought it was 35k or something?

Yeah Joes first week for Classic was 35,650 so he's sold more than that at least. I'm chuffed I didn't expect it to do more than original Classic just based on the fact I would touch a Christmas album with a bargepole if it wasn't him. I expect sales to go up next week for him.

Edited by torresgirl

Was expecting it to be a non-mover at #18, to be honest. It seems 'Marry the Night' doing well on iTunes doesn't reflect it's actual sales - this should've cracked the top 15 already - hopefully it can stick around the top 20 until after Christmas and then become a contender for #1 (much like Rihanna did with 'What's My Name?').
So potentially Joe could end up having 3 albums all selling better than their previous outings - thats if CC continues to sell well into Christmas

Adele's 21 BACK TO #5?! Amazing, dont know what other words to describe the success of this era anymore to be honest! :heehee:

Bruno back in top 10! Great success for him too.

Jessie J  10 places to #19 due to X Factor. :D

N-Dubz #38  Hope its out of top 40 next week and doesnt come back. Cant believe how badly kelly rowland's album did, so bad not to even make top 40

Disapointed Beyonce's '4' isnt top 40, but hopefully after tonight it will sore up to the top 10, if not top 20 at least.
