Oh HARDLY Jason.

It's pretty close - like I said the other day it's certainly in the top (well, bottom) 5 along with 'Hallelujah', 'Long Haired Lover From Liverpool', 'I Have A Dream' and 'I Will Always Love You'.

Military Wives straight in at No. 1 with double the sales of little mix.

Oh well, of course nobody is going to buy this, has no appeal to the younger audience and won't sell as a download

Meh, Why can't people just give money to the charity instead of buying some "lame song" and joining in this campaign!

Those are all subjective - I actually really like Halleujah and I Have a Dream - both good covers. I suspect the general masses would choose the likes of Mr Blobby, Band Aid II, Bob the Builder etc before those (I sense a thread/poll here )

Keep driving, Stacey, all the way out of the top 100..............

Holy crap @ it being #1 already. That's a record, surely? Especially with such a big lead...

Well of course it's all subjective, as are all lists of 'worst [x]' :P

Mr. Blobby and Bob The Builder aren't musical brilliance but at least they have novelty value - Can We Fix It? is certainly far preferable to the bloody Westlife song that would have got there otherwise.

The only positive about this Military Wives abomination (IMO) is that it's for charity and it's not a cause I consider to be particularly worthy. (Again, that's subjective, I know).

People could easily just donate directly to Help For Heroes instead of buying this horrible excuse for a 'song'. I know this argument is incredibly cliched but it's true. I don't mind charity singles when they're actually good songs (like Peter Kay's CIN medley).

Really hope this doesnt overtake Adele in the decade-to-date chart

Pleased to see Stacey looking like having some success anyway. I did really like her on XF. I wonder why it's taken her so long to finally release something though?

I doubt that will happen. It'll probably sell quite a lot this week and an okay amount next week but after that it'll quickly bomb into oblivion.

Moves Like Jagger may overtake Someone Like You in the very near future though which is even worse.

Matt Cardle did the same thing. It's just pre-orders.

I listened to that Military Wives wife song and I couldn't go on after 20 seconds. :| but it is for a good cause and I suppose there could be worse, couldn't there?...
Oh dear, "Cannonball" cover to Wherever You Are, one chart disaster after another.
It truly has been the year of the housewife: Desperate Housewives, Desperate Scousewives, Military Wives, those other various reality shows involving wives of some form.

Ah, the 2000 christmas number one battle. Of course, forgetting B.T.B. and Westlife, it would have been amazing if

snatched the top spot.

Ended up number 3 for a couple weeks. Somehow got to number one, which when you remember how big the MMLP was is quite something, even in the days before downloads.

Anybody know where Alex Day - Forever Day is?

Do you mean Forever Yours?

There are 9 versions in the top 1000, with the highest at #44.

Yeah, sorry, don't know why I put that..

It's not doing too bad, considering he is just a 'You Tube star'.
