January 8, 201214 yr Happy Five Years Since Downloads Were Fully Added Into The Chart day! That 2007 chart was the first one when all sales were counted, hence 'Chasing Cars' suddenly re-appearing at number 9. 2011's chart was pretty bad tbh :/ I loved the year but not many of my faves are there. I quite liked 'Lights On' but that's the only one I'd pick out the 10. 2007, my favourite song ever arrives next week :D A few I quite liked at the time (Leona, Prydz, Booty Luv, Cascada and even Sharam) but nothing long lasting. 2002, wasn't this (25k) one of the lowest ever sales for number 1 at the time? Stereophonics and Ian Van Dahl were good, the Hermes House Band a guilty pleasure. Kinda lost interest in the charts in 2002 as it got filled with Pop Idol nonsense. 1997's is definitely my fave chart! Tori Amos is a dance classic, as is Un-Break My Heart (the Frankie Knuckles remix that charted here) and another of my all-time faves is 'One on One'. Gotta love 'Breathe' too, and while I'm not that big a Spice Girls fan (hated them as an 8 year old at the time), '2 Become 1' is definitely one of their best!
January 8, 201214 yr Hope to see 'Home Again' in the top 40 today and 'Rolling In The Deep'/'Pumped Up Kicks' re-entering :D Hello everyone.

January 8, 201214 yr Will Adele's 21 overtake Madonnas "Immaculate" as the best selling album by female solo artist this week? It should have already according to my bookkeeping but has anyone (MW or OCC) confirmed it?
January 8, 201214 yr Author Will Adele's 21 overtake Madonnas "Immaculate" as the best selling album by female solo artist this week? It should have already according to my bookkeeping but has anyone (MW or OCC) confirmed it? They may confirm it in the sales report later/tomorrow if that is the case.
January 8, 201214 yr Author Indeed it was the lowest tally ever (to that point) for a number one! Poor Orson would smash that 4 years later!
January 8, 201214 yr Sales are going to be pretty poor this week  It'll be funny to see how many of Flo Rida's 'weeks not at #1' sales beat his sales this week when he (most likely) is announced as #1 later.
January 8, 201214 yr Author Sales are going to be pretty poor this week  It'll be funny to see how many of Flo Rida's 'weeks not at #1' sales beat his sales this week when he (most likely) is announced as #1 later. I don't think sales will be that bad - perhaps mores spread out rather than huge sales at #1

January 8, 201214 yr A deserving drop for T Pain I think. Talking over a Lily Allen track doesn't cut it.
January 8, 201214 yr I'm listening in this week to break the monotony of Sunday. I hope it gets better than this. ):
January 8, 201214 yr This fell quickly for a song that got to #1 on iTunes. It's brilliant though.
January 8, 201214 yr 5 O'Clock is nowhere near as bad as most people say it is! Definitely one of the more interesting songs in the top 40. Imagine if it had made #1 like it did on iTunes, would've had one of the worst chart runs seen in a long time for a non-charity song! :o
