January 8, 201214 yr It's really weird that Hair has outpeaked this despite only being a promo single. Goes to show how much potential this era had :( I think Marry the Night is the better song but the whole management of the singles was messed up.
January 8, 201214 yr Marry The Night is growing on me. After loving the Fame and thinking Born This Way (singles) in general were a disappointment l I may invest in the album. Gotta love Judas at least
January 8, 201214 yr Author It's funny how Adele was meant to be the 'Sound of 2008'. She was though (eclipsed by Duffy, but she was big as predicted in 2008).
January 8, 201214 yr She was though (eclipsed by Duffy, but she was big as predicted in 2008). Not to the same extent as she was in 2011 though.

January 8, 201214 yr Loved her! Shame her record company buggered it all up. What has happend to Little Boots, any more stuff from her.
January 8, 201214 yr Author Not to the same extent as she was in 2011 though. Well, of course not, the point is to predict future stars and they were right on the button there.
January 8, 201214 yr Author What has happend to Little Boots, any more stuff from her. Apparently so I think there was a buzz single a while ago, but it got nowhere.
January 8, 201214 yr Surprised Read All About It is still in. I hope Professor Green's next single can get in the top 40. It's also absolutely fantastic. Emeli Sande is apparently doing a Read All About It, Part II on her album. Can't wait to hear it. :D I hope she doesn't make it album only too. :drama:

January 8, 201214 yr Apparently so I think there was a buzz single a while ago, but it got nowhere. Apparently Little Boots and Pixie Lott have the same First Name of Victoria.
January 8, 201214 yr Yes!!!!! Skepta!!! :cheer: :w00t: Most of you better turn off the radio now tbh. The song is really good. :D

And as I posted the other day this is the tenth song titled 'Hold On' to make the UK top 75 (12th to make the top 100). Edited January 8, 201214 yr by Coldbray
January 8, 201214 yr What a soporific selection thus far. This Jessie J song sounds like a Natasha Bedingfield b-side. Yawn yawn. What an insult :o Natasha's b-sides are far better! If someone can explain the staggering level of interest in this kid I would appreciate the explanation?!? There is nothing either unique, exciting nor interesting about any of his music. I cannot fathom the level of support he has. He isn't even attractive? He's just in the right place at the right time with the right A&R, like 95% of other success stories. Nothing more or less to it, he just fills the MOR daytime radio niche nicely for this year. He does have more 'edgy' material than The A Team and Lego House but the record company aren't going to let him release it now that they've discovered that the magic forumla for him getting huge sales = soppy ballads.
January 8, 201214 yr Ok, this is already Skepta's best song from what I've heard, not hard as Rescue Me was only ok, and Bad Boy was dreadful. Cross My Heart sounded decent from that clip though, I don't remember that one.
January 8, 201214 yr Skepta is probably my most hated artist of all time! :puke: His music is cheap and nasty, his raps are unoriginal and everyone I know seems to love him! That being said, Hold On is bearable.
January 8, 201214 yr Skepta is such a flop rapper, the only song I remember is 'Rescue Me'. Well, most rappers can only dream of having top 40 hits, so he does really well in that respect. But yes, he's a flop compared to Kanye West. Rescue Me is a TUNE though.
