January 8, 201214 yr But did that peak in January last year, or did it do similar to what it did over here? It peaked a couple of months later than it did in the UK, but it had a VERY long climb to #1, and it's had one of the longest top 10 runs in the chart history, so let's not pretend it's not impressive. Set Fire to the Rain. I got a bit bored of this when it was getting overplayed, but I'm liking it again now. It'll be #1 in the US in February and March most likely!!! :D
January 8, 201214 yr God awful Jessie J :puke2: Would sound so much better sang by someone else. I like Domino though probably because it doesn't sound like her
January 8, 201214 yr Author Three Sound Of winners in a row. All very different as well. Who won in 2009?
January 8, 201214 yr Another week top 40 for SFTTR :D If it weren't for RITD's re-entry to the top 40, SFTTR would have surpassed its top 40 weeks this week :o (Both are on 24). Edited January 8, 201214 yr by Coldbray
January 8, 201214 yr All very different as well. Who won in 2009? The amazing success that was Little Boots.
January 8, 201214 yr Author The amazing success that was Little Boots. Loved her! Shame her record company buggered it all up.

January 8, 201214 yr All I heard from Little Boots was Remedy. I didn't really like it. It's very boring. Although I almost ended up seeing her live somehow. :drama: But it got cancelled in the end. Marry the Night seems to drag on for sooooooooooooo long. End already please.
January 8, 201214 yr It's really weird that Hair has outpeaked this despite only being a promo single. Goes to show how much potential this era had :(

January 8, 201214 yr It's really weird that Hair has outpeaked this despite only being a promo single. Goes to show how much potential this era had :( Marry the Night also peaked on US iTunes higher when the album was released than it did when it was a single if I'm not mistake. Quite strange really.
January 8, 201214 yr Marry the Night seems to drag on for sooooooooooooo long. End already please. They just played the shortened version as well, it's usually even longer
January 8, 201214 yr regarding the post about the best selling album by female solo artist: 21 has now sold 3.8 million, The Immaculate Collection was certified 12xplatinum in 2003 so it must be still ahead but not for long. Two-three weeks perhaps.
January 8, 201214 yr If someone can explain the staggering level of interest in this kid I would appreciate the explanation?!? There is nothing either unique, exciting nor interesting about any of his music. I cannot fathom the level of support he has. He isn't even attractive?
January 8, 201214 yr Bit of a drop for The A Team this week but nice to see it still in the top 40 in any case. Quite a ballad-heavy chart so far :P
