I was thinking it could do similar to 'Ein' and pick up quite a few 12's. Perhaps not win, but certainly be in the mix right at the top there!

Doing an 'Ein' is essentialy leading for most of the voting and then falling out of the top 3 (oh the memories :drama: ;) )

The original odds I posted were actually Tom Kay's. I pressed enter too many times and accidently sent them :lol:

but SoSo and Foxes were predicted to do well from the start of the contest.

 

And have since got a bit lost in the mix. Hardly anyone is talking about both those entries, but I think either one of them could return from nowhere and clinch a victory.

But seriously, I'm begining to think it isn't as certain as we think that Tone will win. I still think she will, but I think's it very possible that SoSo, Foxes or Prance Faris might win rather than the obvious Tone or Carly.

I've been wondering about Tone. I still think she's in with a very good chance, but I'd be surprised if she ran away with it Sober-style, particularly as there ARE so many other contenders. When Loreen won, there were really only two other contenders for the top, Red Hot and Call My Name. It was an excellent contest, but we were so dry of potential winners, at least two of the songs we were predicting to easily come top 10 flopped on their arses majorly because they had no vocal support behind them. I remember, I was one of them :cry:, the other main one being Love Struck, who everyone was predicting to take up the top 4 with the other 3. I can't see any of this month's contenders flopping in the same way, all of them have some form of support behind them.

 

Here I can imagine Tone taking it, she's still the favourite, but I can just as easily see 6 or 7 others potentially at the top, SoSo, Foxes, Carly, Prance Faris, Dia, The Storm, even Nightwish. (those 7 are in the order of what I'm expecting)

 

As an aside, what's happened to Kopecka? I wouldn't mind seeing them dark horse it either, and they're perfectly capable of making it to the top 10 I think.

Of course. I shall read it all, my heart pounding as I get nearer to finding out my result. I would read it all anyway, it's far more exciting that way.

 

(It's a friend's 18th, hopefully I won't be too wasted when I get back in)

On Sunday I might not be here as well, but I can take slight glimpses of it during work secretly to see how I'm getting on :D

I think it definitely stands a bigger chance of winning that some songs... I've listened to most of the songs now, and yours doesn't seem THAT BJSC-unfriendly compared to some other songs. I would do odds, but I can't be bothered to think of how likely EVERY song is to win. :lol:

I've been quietly thinking this for a while now! I think this is another Jody scenario - everyone insists it's a mid-table or low top ten at best, but it goes on to outperform the predictions. I had thought it was a potential winner when I confirmed it, but since the start of the contest it seems to have been written off. I certainly think top five is still possible though!

I'd like to see you get a comfortable top ten, it's a pretty great remix of a great cover and the odds for it have been a bit underwhelming so far. I've been predicting between 7th-9th in all of my odds and I still think that this is quite possible!

 

A potential winner might be stretching it though, it's not as 'in your face' as the usual sort of Scandipop that does well here...it didn't even hit me until the second listen and I'm a huge Lena AND Scandipop fan!

If anything I thought it might have been a little TOO in-your-face! The production's quite similar to Popular in the chorus, I'd thought it would draw the same sorts of haters that that did...
