To me the overall chart run is more important, although a great peak is nice too.

For me, it has to be overall sales.

 

Any half-competent record company can get an artist a repectable peak with weeks of massive hype, but if the song is gone from the T40 just several weeks later, what does that say about the quality of the song itself?

Great to see Charlie Brown in the top 20! Would absolutely love it to reach as high on Sunday or next week. Will most likely be disappointed though.
