People should be aware that Katy will be on the final of 'Let's Dance For Sport Relief', as well as having her own Live Lounge set (5 Songs and a cover) at some point during the week too. I can't not see Katy going top 3 at LEAST, video or no video.
Off topic but speaking of The Wanted, their next US single is 'Gold Forever'.

I read they're doing like David Guetta, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, etc. and releasing a song every week in the run up to their album. So maybe it's just a promo single. Like they'll put it for download but not really promote it much. That song is in no way strong enough to be a proper US single imo. It didn't do that well even in the UK as a charity single.

Also In Katy's advantage Part Of Me will go straight into the top 40 on iTunes because it's not listed as an album. The airplay has also been very good, I would be shocked to see this not go at number one! Although I did expect a video to be released before the Uk Release!

01. Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know 100%

02. Nicki Minaj - Starships 85.3% (New Pop Bar Peak)

16. Coldplay - Charlie Brown (New Peak This Week looking likely :cheer:

29. Taio Cruz & Flo Rida - Hangover (This is falling quite fast now :cheer:

Wouldnt it be just great if SHM got to number 1 on i tunes. The song is class

 102. Glee Cast - La Isla Bonita

 141. Glee Cast - Sexy And I Know It

 154. Glee Cast - Bamboleo/Hero

'La Isla Bonita' & 'Bamboleo/Hero' have both risen over 100 places since last update :D

'Gold Forever' is underrated/under appreciated I feel. It's definitely the inspiration behind the idea of them doing 'Glad You Came'. Who'd have thought GYC would have done as well as it has in the US? Hope 'Gold Forever' shocks too.

I don't think its clear at all what will be number 1 next week except that it will most likely be new - JLS could well do exactly what The Wanted did this time last year, Katy & Labrinth's songs don't seem to have as much hype as their previous efforts

I'm gonna guess:

01. Katy Perry

02. Gotye

03. JLS

04. Labrinth

05. Nicki Minaj

but literally anything is possible out of this top 5

I can't see Gotye falling that much, I also expect it to overtake all three of the new releases eventually

I just heard 'Greyhound' and it's ace! I hope to see it top 10, although it probably won't make it this week (or even next with the heavy influx of new releases).
What does the pre order chart look like at the moment and how do i get to have a look at it?

if you look at the album chart on itunes, you'll also see pre-orders (click 'release date' in the 'Sort By' options to see them all at the top)

ftr, next weeks releases currently stand at:

32. Katy Perry - Part Of Me

119. JLS - Proud

139. Labrinth - Last Time

OK, so this may seem clear  but I still think this is very much open

Somehow I think JLS fans are gonna do something to make sure they put up a good fight (like obsessively buying other formats than just the single download), I can't see them not being top 2.
I'm quite positive that POM will get to #1. She has promo lined up and brilliant airplay. Its doing well on preorders too.

Charlie Brown  #15

This! CB is top 15!

I think top 20 this week it's not too much for asking... it's top 20 since Tuesday.

They'll be the only ones buying it. No amount of money or support can help that tragic Westlife-lite 'song'.

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Top 10 officially now please! And then top 5. And then top 3. And then #1. And then #1 for 17 weeks. :kink:

I'm probably the least politically correct person on this forum, so how come I'm seemingly the only one disturbed by the blatantly racist title of this song?

Of course not, you are entitled to your opinion, but don't make every post about it

That's a dangerous path to take - believe me, I know!

Because Jay-Z & Kanye West are both black artists, so them using the word "ni**a" isn't racist. It would be racist if for example Eminem or Professor Green were using it to describe a black person.

Just the response I was waiting for...

Consider this - if a white artist were to write a song with 'Pikeys' in the title, I bet the police would be knocking at their door ASAP!
