Must've been 59p on iTunes

If you look at the chart runs of the big hits from the 80's, they weren't so long. I'd like it to be like that now.

Pretty much the only major movement in the charts every weeks comes from songs that are held back, everything else just climbs or falls 5 places each week.

I would say that is alot to do with the technology we have today and the fact that theres alot more places to hear songs for much longer, capital for instance plays song a year after they were big constantly so the biggest hits are longer runners, mind you its only the BIGGEST hits that stay for 20+ weeks in the top 40!

'Dedication To My Ex' - I was in LOVE with this about 2 months ago! It's worn off on me pretty quickly though.... it has certainly jumped quite a bit this week!

It was reduced to 59p on iTunes.

Definitely one of the best 'breakthrough' hits from 2011/2 - great to see it continuing such a strong chart run. Here's hoping it's follow up, supposedly featuring Chip (formerly Chipmunk) grabs Lloyd a second top 40 hit as a lead artist.

That's true. And I remember when I listened to top 40 stations like Galaxy, etc. when I was younger, they didn't overplay the same songs for so long. Just a few months it seemed, although they'd go back and play an older song occasionally obviously. What they're playing at the moment on Capital isn't that much different to what they were playing 6 months ago.

lol. I think it's a better rap name than Chipmunk though, to be honest.

I think Lloyd has left it too late to have another big hit. Low top 40 is possible if it sounds commercial/rips off DTME(MT)

This could end up peaking at #27 based on iTunes, making it Taio's third lowest peaking proper single (not counting 'Telling The World') :o Surprised it's plummeting already.
Wow, I was thinking this could be a number 1 contender but its plummeting already so this may be its peak, didn't expect that at all! :o

The fact that this is being played straight after "Hangover" makes it sound even more majestic. I'm not even annoyed it's ahead of "Born To Die" anymore
