Another week in the top 40 for Paradise :D Looking forward to seeing where Charlie Brown lands today, maybe an outside chance of top 20?

As sad as it is to not have M.I.A. grace the top 40 - I'm thrilled that Tyga managed at least one week inside; really thought it'd evolve into a hit - though I guess there's still time (i.e. a 59p reduction). Likewise for M.I.A., although this week seemed it's best chance to climb into the top 40 - there's still a chance for the future.

It concerns me how quickly Gym Class Heroes, will.i.am and soon Chiddy Bang, Cover Drive and Alyssa Reid have all fallen down the charts - I thought American acts were annoyingly long-holding top 40'ers - though UK music isn't faring any better either - a 10-place drop for Coldplay and a 10+ drop for Dappy coming up.

Oh, Reggie said 6 new entries - we've had Tyga and then there's Alexandra, Azealia, Swedish House Mafia, Jason Mraz and LMFAO so unless he's made a mistake M.I.A. has missed out... :(

I don't like the MIA song but it's far better than that atrocious Tyga rubbish.

I don't like the MIA song but it's far better than that atrocious Tyga rubbish.

Both those songs deserve to do very well in the charts imo.

I'm not very bothered about it though. They're both very popular anyway.

Born To Die. I wonder if Lana's next single will make the top 40.

They play all 40 songs now? :o

What a disappointment, I mean, I really miss Celebrity Chart Numbers

This is having a not dissimilar run to "Video Games" so far... here's hoping it reclimbs as "Blue Jeans" picks up airplay.

:snif: I am cry. Poor M.I.A.

Gah, why can't she sneak one week? :(

Born To Die and Paradise are SO OLD (subjectively of course), and T.H.E and Ass Back Home were taking large plummets. Ah well.

The introduction of 'Born to Die' is identical to that of 'Russian Roulette'!! :o

And the chorus' melody is very similar to Adam Lambert's 'Whataya Want From Me'.

I think Lana's done very well with Born To Die, considering what kind of song it is and that the buying public wouldn't usually buy songs like this IMO. She definitely has crossover appeal.
M.I.A. was 41 I bet, beaten by Tyga as bloody well -_-

This is true, but Blue Jeans is born to flop. Y U NO RELEASE NATIONAL ANTHEM :snif:

MIA :(

Also Tyga looks identical to Wiz Khalifa?? Awful song.

I don't think they look similar really. They're both small and skinny I guess.
