I did like S Club 7 a lot, but don't hold them in as high regard as Steps. S Club had some really good singles, but I didn't find them quite as consistently good as Steps. I'm not sure the reunion will work very well as by the time S Club called it a day, it seemed that very few people actually cared about their existence and it felt like the group had run it's course and could offer no more to the industry.

AMAZE. So much more welcome than a bloody Atomic Kitten reunion. I'm still pining for a new Rachel solo album, but I'm proper excited now for this

Never Had A Dream Come True  Bring It All Back

LOVED S Club 7 when I was younger, watched Miami 7 and LA 7 religiously

I'm VERY excited about this, they were brilliant in the day. Not too sure how this reunion will turn out tbh, but hopefully it will be good!

And I'll agree that some of their album tracks and b-sides were better than some of their singles! Such as 'We Can Work It Out', 'Show Me Your Colours', 'Let Me Sleep' and 'I Really Miss You'.

It's great seeing all the love for Let Me Sleep. I'm not afraid to say that it's the first and only song so far to have made me cry.

I do love a rate bandwagon:

A great slice of 00s pop!

Calvin Harris nicked the melody of Let Me Sleep for the verses in his new track!

S Club 7 were always better than Steps. I really think people underestimate them a lot. They were massive in 2000/2001 and actually showed a mature sound to their music and progression through their albums, whereas Steps churned out the same stuff for 5 years. I have nothing against Steps as I loved them too, but SC7 defined my childhood :kink:

I also agree that they had solid album tracks. The whole of the 'Sunshine' and 'Seeing Double' albums are fairly consistent, when compared to their earlier cheese-fest stuff.

I loved s club 7 and have all there albums.

I'm looking forward to hearing new music from them.

I've probably said this a million times! But I am ON the single version of Have I Ever as far as I'm aware.

I loved them at the time but I'm not sure the reunion will be all that much of a success after the tour.

They don't have the same appeal as Steps IMO

Doing that rate has reminded me just how much I loved them at the time! Gonna have to find out all my old albums!! :)

YES! Go away for 5 days and comeback to this news! Amazing. (Well I actually read it out and about but couldn't post anything until today! ha.) This pleases me greatly! I love/d them so much! I too, never got to go and see them tour, but I was always upset that some of my friends from school would go and they'd come back the next day in school and be like "It was the best day of my life!!" :(

I LOVED their TV shows too!

I agree about their albums too. Although I'd never heard 'Seeing Double'... Might have to Spotify that, at least. I loved 'Best Friends', 'I'll Be Waiting', 'Stand By You' and 'Show Me Your Colours' the most though.

They had their fans and still have (even though its for more nostalgic reasons now). I think there will be a lot of interest in their tour but i think their days of hit singles are now behind them.

I don't think I can cope with Rachel and Tina at the same time  really excited about this!!!!
Rather have that second solo Jo album tbh :smoke: or another series of Primeval.
Primeval was one of my fave shows but I'd take an S Club reunion over a Primeval relaunch right now :kink:
Such a shame about Paul though, he used to be SO cute :(
