April 15, 201214 yr The Fame back in the Top 75 after dropping out of the Top 100 for the first time last week. Edited April 15, 201214 yr by MrGaGa
April 15, 201214 yr Without you was the biggest climber inside the top 75 as I predicted. Santigold only at #96.
April 15, 201214 yr StooShe and JLS!! :o What positions did they drop from? Anyone know where Alex Day fell to this week?
April 15, 201214 yr JLS dropped a massive 52 places - they're at #96! This is without a doubt their worst performing single
April 15, 201214 yr Author Top 100 singles updated. Some random and mostly pointless notes on the top 100 this week; - 'Boyfriend' at #2 is Justin Bieber's 14th top 100 hit. - 'Climax' at #4 is Usher's 24th top 100 hit. - Janelle Monáe is the first artist to make the top 100 since 2006 with the letter 'á' in their name. (José González was the last). There was, however, an act with an 'à' in their name that charted last year - Mànran, who made #61 with 'Latha Math'. - 'Level Up' at #8 is Sway's 7th top 100 hit. - 'LaserLight' at #26 is Jessie J's ninth top 100 hit and David Guetta's 29th. - You Me At Six's The Swarm has so far had a chart run of 23-26-32-41 - falling 3 places, then 6, then 9. #53 next week? - The OCC website shows 'Together In Electric Dreams' at #46 as climbing from #118 - it should say it's climbing from #90, as the #118 last week was the sales of the nonexistant The Human League 'version', which is actually exactly the same song as last week's #90. (Really it should be showing as a climb from #61, which is where the song would have been last week had the OCC combined them). - Glee Cast's version of 'Somebody That I Used To Know' is a new entry at #56, becoming the eighth top 100 hit from series 3 and the 140th top 100 hit in total for Glee Cast. It matches the peak of 'We Are Young' to be the second biggest hit of series 3, only behind the #35 peak of 'Rumour Has It / Someone Like You'. - Kings Of Leon's Sex On Fire at #57 scores a 120th week in the top 100; it's only the third song to do this after Frank Sinatra's 'My Way' (124 weeks) and Snow Patrol's 'Chasing Cars' (157 weeks). - The Beatles' 'Here Comes The Sun' has re-entered at #58 due to appearing in an advert. It's a new peak for the song which was never a single but was one of their most popular cherrypicks when their discography became available on iTunes in 2010 - it then entered the chart at #64. - 'Mercy' at #82 is the third top 100 hit for Pusha T; one of his previous two was also a Kanye West collaboration, 'Runaway'. It's the 39th top 100 hit for Kanye West, the second for Big Sean and the first for 2 Chainz. - 'This Woman's Work' at #90 is the fourth top 100 hit for Maxwell. - Prince & The Revolution's 'Purple Rain' has charted in the top 100 for exactly one week each year since 2007, apart from 2010. This week it re-enters at #91, so don't expect it to re-enter again until some point next year. - 'No One Does It Better' at #92 is the tenth top 100 hit for You Me At Six. - Santigold's 'Disparate Youth' at #96 is her second top 100 hit, but her first hit released under that name - her 2008 #27 hit 'L.E.S. Artistes' was released under the name 'Santogold'. Why she changed the spelling of her name I do not know. - 'The Motto' by Drake feat. Lil Wayne (down 15 to #100) has now surpassed The Black Keys' 'Lonely Boy' to a ninth week in the top 100 without going any higher than #80. - fun., Janelle Monáe, Breathe Carolina, Alex Clare and 2 Chainz (as above) all score their first top 100 hit this week. I'll try and update the albums top 100 tomorrow. Edited April 15, 201214 yr by B.r.É
April 15, 201214 yr Anyone know where Alex Day fell to this week? Yeah that'll be interesting  Only #82 for Mercy :(
April 15, 201214 yr I hate it when there's a buzz for a forthcoming new release, but then they hold back and don't release it and those copycat versions creep into the chart (see #58)
April 15, 201214 yr I know I don't post here often, but I do love it when the whole of the Top 100 is posted here, rather than directing me to the Official Charts website :)
April 15, 201214 yr JLS dropped a massive 52 places - they're at #96! This is without a doubt their worst performing single Even worse than that actually - it fell to #99, so it suffered a 55 place drop! ~~ Poor Stooshe dropping 43 places too, gosh. Dappy's #2 Rockstar also leaving the Top 75 after just six weeks.
April 15, 201214 yr Author Even worse than that actually - it fell to #99, so it suffered a 55 place drop! ~~ Poor Stooshe dropping 43 places too, gosh. Dappy's #2 Rockstar also leaving the Top 75 after just six weeks. And the less said about Alex Day the better :P
April 15, 201214 yr Anyone know where Alex Day fell to this week? About #762 at a guess... Oh shit. How unlucky for You Me At Six, very nearly spent a fourth week in the Top 40. :o (Still, at least The Swarm had doubled their Top 40 total weeks.)
April 16, 201214 yr Santogold had to change her name due to legal action from another artist with the same name IIRC...
April 16, 201214 yr Author Top 100 albums now updated. Plan B's 'The Defamation Of Strickland Banks' has reached 100 weeks in the top 100 :D Anyone know why Arctic Monkeys are back in the top 100 with their debut album? Is it on sale somewhere?
