I see thanks guys, I think SLY will get there eventually still  One of those songs that will always just be selling consistently for years to come week by week even if it is a few thousand and then it'll get significant boosts any time its used on TV.

01. Will Young - Evergreen/Anything Is Possible

Peak // #1 (2002)

So, Will Young still the #1 seller of the millennium. So, after the recent 'big story' made about '21' having outsold Michael Jackson and therefore making her bigger than him (media's words, not mine)... can we safely agree that Will Young is bigger than Michael Jackson? Of course we can, very accurate statement. It's already been mentioned that Will himself isn't even keen on this song, so the #1 seller is a song that isn't liked by the artist behind it. Crazy. But, obviously plenty of people do love it - as it's been bought more times than any other single this millennium! Well done Will!

And then another three million or so before she beats Candle In The Wind '97 :P

KOBBAR could suggest how she could do that

anything is possible is crap :L... evergreen is much better..

this confuses me tho, which one of the two is the biggest seller:S

They both are as the CD single was a double A side.

I'm glad Adele hasn't overtaken Will. I actually like Evergreen more than Someone Like You.

It was a 'double A-side' so the CD single had both songs on. So everyone who has 'Evergreen' has 'Anything Is Possible' and vice versa. Something that doesn't happen anymore in the download era!

Without you stepping into the breach it wouldn't have been possible! Yay for Buzzjack!!

Now, it's finished, does anybody know what the deal is with Where is the Love?'s sales. It should be approaching like 800,000 now going by the sales it had according to the decade-end chart, but according to where it's positioned in this chart it's sold less than 700,000.

And thanks to everybody who did this thread. :)

This has to be said, Over on Haven, a member called Harkinson has just hosted the full 12 hours today, well done to him.

More importantly, where are Fragma.............AGAIN?

10. DO THEY KNOW IT'S CHRISTMAS?- Band Aid 20 (6) 1,174,000

11. CAN'T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD- Kylie Minogue (7) 1,124,000

12. JUST THE WAY YOU ARE (AMAZING)- Bruno Mars 1,123,000

13. WE FOUND LOVE- Rihanna Ft Calvin Harris 1,109,000

WFL could possibly make it into the top 10, only to be kicked straight out again by Gotye.

We aren't Haven though?

Evergreen sounds pretty fresh, at least it's a good song for a talent contest winner.

I bet Gotye will be #2 ahead of SLY until the year is over.

STIUTK will be murdered many times during the next talent contests.

Oh god Evergreen is so crap, can't believe it's still top of the decade :/ Ugh. But I'm biased as someone who likes precisely one Will song (Jealousy), so well done Will anyway!

I think it's plausible either SLY or STIUTK could eventually overtake though with trickle sales over the next few years, or maybe I'm just being hopeful :P
