The chart run for My Heart Takes Over was far worse.

Work:

48-38-31-29-22-35-37-36-47-55-81-x

My Heart Takes Over:

15-28-46-x

I forgot about that song.

Yeah, their worst chart runs are:

1. My Heart Takes Over

2. Work

3. Forever is Over

And their three best chart runs I'd say were:

1. Issues

2. Higher - It was amazing how early this song started charting aswell!!

3. Ego

Good

1. All Fired Up

2. Up

3. Work

4. Forever is Over

Meh

5. Higher [non Flo version]

6. If This Is Love

7. Missing You

8. Issues

Bad

9. Just Can't Get Enough

Ear-Rape

10. 30 Days

11. Ego

12. My Heart Takes Over

13. Notorius

I do have an occasional soft spot for the sats (god knows why) so i kinda want them to get a number 1 just so they can expire in peace.

Up and All Fired Up are decent songs, the rest all range from average to terrible. Higher in particular is overrated beyond belief. Generic + awful.

I always felt like 'Higher' should have been bigger than it was. Don't get me wrong, #10 and 300K sales isn't something to laugh at, but I just feel like it should have been massive. The whole intro with Flo saying their names and the 'wotcha doin' Saturday, girl?' thing, the video, the pure pop chorus. Classic Saturdays.

I like that bit aswell. And it's a good idea since it helps people learn their names. I think Flo Rida might have got the idea from Buttons (the bit after 2:40):

Posting this as Notorious came up on shuffle:

Issues is their best with Up, Higher and Ego not far behind. Notorious and All Fired Up are amazing despite being so recent, I have a soft spot for those two. Missing You is wonderful too, Forever Is Over and Work are dece and If This Is Love is ok. The other two (?) singles aren't anything special.

30 Days itself has gotten boring for me, but I'm all for them getting a #1 finally, even it's incredibly unlikely.

I like the bit where they walk across the zebra crossing, too.

Haha. Me too. Quite a treat for the guys in the cars.

This remix of Missing You is so epic after 2:30 when it slows down for Professor Green's rap. They should've done the whole song slow like that with the extra percussion, it sounds so intense.

Bandwagon jumping as well:

Fantastic:

1. Up

2. Work

3. My Heart Takes Over

Very Good:

4. All Fired Up

5. Higher

6. Forever Is Over

7. Notorious

8. Ego

Good:

9. Issues

10. 30 Days

Average:

11. Missing You

Downright Bad:

12. Just Can't Get Enough

13. If This Is Love

Can't cope with having to read thru all this Saturdays talk.... I'm sure they have a forum!
Really hope Scissor Sisters can go top 40 before The Voice tonight, then they can rocket into the top 10 where they belong

Jumping the bandwagon!

Alright:

Higher

Notorious

Issues

My Heart Takes Over

Don't like:

Missing You

Forever Is Over

30 Days

Just Can't Get Enough

I knew some serious Saturdays looning was gonna go on today  I wouldn't be surprised if this thread is the longest weekly thread we've had so far!

9.0 All Fired Up

9.0 Up

8.5 30 Days

8.0 Missing You

8.0 Higher

8.0 Notorious

7.5 Ego

7.5 Issues

7.0 My Heart Takes Over

6.5 Forever is Over

6.0 Just Can't Get Enough

5.0 Work

0.0 If This Is Love (haven't heard it before)

Their catalogue is good, it's just a bit samey and none of them seem like they should be a #1 (bar 'Up' and maybe 'All Fired Up').

Is there a new Saturdays Single out?

I think there might be, but I can't find it on iTunes and I haven't seen anyone talking about it in the thread so I guess it must have flopped. :(

It's all very well people moaning about "too much Saturdays talk" or whatever, but try adding something else to talk about... don't join in by moaning or getting involved with the rates or whatever. It happens all the time in iTunes not just when the Sats release. Cheryl's week will be just the same, as would GaGa's/Britney's... Either join in with the discussion or try actually inputting something else to steer it away. we're not stopping others from talking about the other releases... Just my opinion.

Hopefully Scissor's will get top 40 with 'Only The Horses' such a good song from them. Not too bothered about their previous output but I can fully get on board with this one

Loads of great songs out this week! The Saturdays, Scissor Sisters, Delilah and finally Mark and Katy. I wonder why it took them so long to release it! Has been out for absolute ages now. Really hope Delilah can return to the top 100 after Love You So. Still don't understand why that underperformed.

And just because everyone else is doing it :P
