this year's 'give me everything', they said!

a smash hit for ne-yo, they said!

Well, it got to number 2, so it's hardly a flop yet.

I was expecting this to do slightly better than it has I must say :( (Calvin that is)

She's way younger than some of them. I heard Somebody That I Used to Know, Domino, Titanium, Turn Me On and Sexy and I Know It in summer 2011. Now we're approaching summer 2012!

I know they've had much more airplay, but she entered the charts around the same time as most of them (except LMFAO), I still think its just an unfortunately quiet period for the charts, hopefully it will pick up later in the year

Fight between Gotye and Nicki for #10 I think - really hoping it's Gotye.
Who else did he sign?

Jonathan, and the dog has got a ticket to Hollywood :o

Album Discussion Here

Sparks is absolutely fantastic, shame it's gonna be one for the Ultimate One-Week Wonders game (if anyone runs it in 5 years or so ) now but what can you do? I thought it would flop originally so I'm ok with it.

(album still hasn't arrived for me, it's taking a while :()

Hopefully Nicki held top 10, before someone says 'Starships' is old, Somebody That I Used To Know is much older!

EDIT: Looks like she didn't! :(

TBH, I'd rather both Nicki AND Gotye were out of the top 10, not just one of them.

YES GOTYE! Grab that equal 2010s record for top 10 longevity  Ideally I'd like it to hang on for a 17th week to overtake Maroon 5 but at least he's equalled them. All is good. Especially after I was almost certain his 14th would be his last.

And yay at Reggie finally playing the breakdowns in 'Starships' even when it's out of the top 10 :D

Dropping out of the top 40 this week:

23 Sub Focus feat. Alice Gold - Out The Blue

29 Sway - Level Up

32 Lana Del Rey - Blue Jeans

34 Usher - Climax

36 Jay-Z and Kanye West - Niggas In Paris

37 James Vincent McMorrow - Higher Love

39 Flux Pavilion feat. Example - Daydreamer

40 Olly Murs - Oh My Goodness

That's a really good list :( Ah well, lots of good entries this week as well. (Not so much Emeli, Bieber [TTY(MDD)] and Mraz but the rest are good).

Edited by B.r.É

Not Charlotte or the Loveable Rogues? :(

Nothing on Lovable Rogues, I'm assuming he has signed Charlotte as well.
