I literally feel like a PROUD MOTHER today. Who'd have thought that the slightly awkward-looking woman trapped in a pit of despair during My Heart Is Refusing Me last year who seemed destined to just stay an underground cult favourite of Melodifestivalen fans would go on to be a contender for a UK #1 just over a year later?

And I controversially dismissed My Heart Is Refusing Me at the time even though I KNEW that she had huge potential with the right song. Little did I know that not only would she find the right song, but potentially one of the greatest songs of the century.[/hyperbole]

As for Gary Barlow vs. Loreen, I expect fun. will go back ahead pretty quickly anyway, there's nothing to keep Euphoria afloat at the top :(

I dunno who she is tbh

Check out "Pray" - it was huge in Australia in 2000. Loreen's music is very similar to hers.

Oh totally, we've watched Loreen blossom from an awkward caterpillar to a thoroughly amazing Eurovision winning, chart topping superstar in just over a year, it does feel like my own child doing well  I didn't even think we'd see her in Melodifestivalen again, let alone that we'd see her win the whole thing, landslide Eurovision and get a UK hit!

Kind of off topic but out of interest does anyone know what the biggest climb to #1 is? Loreen was new at #85 this week and I'd imagine the record is below 100 but it got me thinking.

I know in America it's Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You from 97 to 1.

Most defintley on team Loreen this week. Also Alexandra Burke needs to get herself into the top 10 as well.

Getting herself to top 20 first would be a start! :( It's #31 at the moment.

Westlife's "Unbreakable" went up 200-1.

Within the top 40, P!nk 'So What' 38-1.

Within the top 75, Pixie Lott 'Boys And Girls' 73-1.

Within the top 100, Rage Against The Machine 'Killing In The Name' 80-1.

Within the top 200, Westlife 'Mandy' 200-1.

(Loreen is not going to be #1 though).

I think the record's only recognised as being within the Top 75 and Pixie Lott climbed from #75 to #1 with Boys and Girls.

Why was Pixie #73? It was a pre-album single?

It was released on Friday evening for some reason.

OK thanks (and Ne Plus Ultra) I know Loreen won't get #1 and she wouldn't have broken the biggest climb record but it got me thinking

You never know. Euphoria was just played to 3 million people on the radio, and maybe in Monday morning's Global Radio meeting they might make an emergency addition to Capital and Heart's playlists ;)

Don't remember it :o Sounds more like Steps though haha

Right, that's Kylie done on the Voice, let see what it does for the song!

I have to say though, that was close to Tulisa's performance on BGT, though slightly better
