Ok, so just found out Leona Lewis and Adele are rumoured to be dueting at the opening ceremony of the olympics! It will be a new song, and the soundtrack of London Olympics 2012 :o :o This could be incredible!

Elbow are doing the official song for the London 2012 Olympic Games and that WILL be incredible!

If this is true, surely that'll get to #1!! I hope it's a good song. I think Leona and Adele are two artists very likely to perform at the Olympics anyway, whether these rumours are true or not.

That's like the 4th 'official London 2012 song' now  Remember 'Anywhere In The World'? And 'Proud' by Heather Small?

Looking forward to hearing the Leona/Adele duet and this new Elbow song anyhow. Leona/Adele seems like the most foregone conclusion of a #1 ever but then everyone thought that about 'Happy' so I won't hold my breath just yet especially as no one's heard it yet!

I think Anywhere In The World is Coca-Cola's song for the Olympics. Like Wavin' Flag was Coca-Cola's song for the 2010 World Cup but Waka Waka was the 'official' song.
I can't help thinking that an Adele solo effort would be 100% better than a duet with Leona Lewis

Quite contrasting successes for Coca-Cola's official songs then! (AITW could recover though I guess, but for now it's a #55 SMASH).

Well, the Olympic Games are still 7 weeks away. Expect promotion on every ad break during the Games (even though the sport is on BBC)
It would have been better if it's chart run went: 2-*1*-2 though.

It had 2 weeks at #12 so it did go 12-12 :P

It will be the BBC's official theme for the Olympic Games coverage, slightly different.

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it yet - but @OfficialCharts (Twitter) posted that Leanne Mitchell's 'Run to You' is a new chart entry at #45. May be able to manage a second week in the top 100 if The Voice UK compilation kicks off.

It would be just amazing. I remember hearing that there were talks for a Leona/Adele duet on Leona's new album, which is out end of summer..in time for round olympics? So it may even be on Leona's new album. Exciting stuff!

Wish My Kind Of Love went top 10 as well!
