Above Chart online after 7pm

Aww Carrie just missed it! :(

Murking and Screw You made the top 100!!! :w00t:

Although even Precision Tunes did agin.

No Church in the Wild at #41 and Can't Say No at #42. :drama:

Yes at Kelly climbing to #25 in the albums! :D And Loreen still top 30 (just!)

Great to see that StooShe’s Black Heart peaked one place higher than Love Me, and Paloma Faith’s Picking Up the Pieces managed to re-enter the Top 10. Nice jump for Katy Perry’s Wide Awake, should be comfortably in the Top 10 next week. Labrinth’s Express Yourself has had a great chart run in the Top 40 (-17-16-18-16-18-17-).

Gutted at Justin Bieber debuting at number one, it would ideally fall out of the Top 5 this week with 3 potential new entries in the Top 5 next week – Flo Rida, Maroon 5, Linkin’ Park. Not good to see Rumer and Keane falling 12 places, but nice to see re-entries for Nicki Minaj and Train.

Justin Beiber and Cheryl Cole #1 and #2? Sickening.

One was obviously bought by people with bad taste and paedophiles the other vaccous ninnies and Simon Cowell buying 75% of the copies.

I keep seeing people write Stooshe as 'StooShe'. It's just Stooshe! :P No capitalisation emphasis needed.

Their name is derived from the slang word 'Stoosh'. The 'e' on the end was added for "a little extra girl power", i.e. so 'she' is part of the name. However, 'Stoo' and 'She' aren't two separate parts. ^_^

... yes, I'm being anal. ;)

I also see people do that for LaserLight aswell.

Christ, what a boring week. When was the last week there were only two tracks new to the top 40?

I've seen it written as StooShe a lot, that's why I always type it like that. I'm sure some music channels do it, the same with LaserLight like EricBlob said.

I think 'LaserLight' is deliberate, given that 'laserlight' isn't actually a word anyway. It's written as one word on her cover, so either 'Laserlight' or 'LaserLight' can be correct for Jessie J's single.

(It's credited as 'LaserLight', 'Laserlight' and 'Laser Light' on different official available versions on iTunes. )

Going by their iTunes releases & their official website / Twitter, it's just 'Stooshe'. http://www.stooshe.com/ | https://twitter.com/#!/stooshe

85 09 03 Precision Tunes Payphone

If only this fell to #83, wouldn't a chart run of 83-09-83 just be fantastic!

I had a quick look at their single covers, and it says Stooshe too (well, it actually says it in capital letters, but still no indication that the middle S is a capital when written normally). Still, 'StooShe' looks cooler to me! :P

ugh no church only at 41 if it doesnt go top 40 this week ill be very angry with shake it out!!

63 R 19 Wynter Gordon Dirty Talk

LOL what's this, I mean why?

Oops at Fiona Apple, such a shame.

It was 59p too ;)

To continue from the sales thread:

To JosepH: But still, he doesn't DESERVE it because it's not your chart, it represents the whole country and it's all about quantity, not quality.

I'm a huge fan of Belle and Sebastian and do I think they should have a #1 album? Hell no as they're not popular enough. They're just brilliant at what they're doing.

Surely if you're a fan of them then you'd think that they deserve a #1? I love Lucie Silvas and I think she deserves to be #1 and become the new Adele, but I know she won't. Doesn't mean I don't think she deserves it. Sure, the charts aren't abotu quality at all, but I personally think that the right album got to the top and I'm happy with it.

I think usage of the word "deserves" is what we should be debating.

Is deserving a subjective or objecting attribute?
