July 22, 201213 yr THAT 2007 TOP 10! *.* !!!!!!! Most of them are stone cold classics! 1- UMBRELLA- Rihanna Ft Jay Z (22,143) 2- FOUNDATIONS- Kate Nash (22,012) SO CLOSE! 3- THE WAY I ARE- Timbaland Ft Keri Hilson/ ODB (20,128) 4- BIG GIRLS DON’T CRY (PERSONAL)- Fergie (18,866) 5- DO YOU KNOW (PING PONG SONG)- Enrique Iglesias (14,349) 6- WORRIED ABOUT RAY- Hoosiers (12,722) 7- WHEN YOU’RE GONE- Avril Lavigne (12,351) 9- FLUORESCENT ADOLESCENT- Arctic Monkeys (10,096) 10- TEENAGERS- My Chemical Romance (9,801) MESMERIZING  Quite possibly my favourite ever top 5 (actually top 7!!)! :o The sales were abysmal though. I assume it was next week where Kate Nash lost out to Timbaland by 22 copies or whatever?! :o 'C U When U Get There' is a forgotten gem for me too! Such a shame to see 'Gangsta's Paradise' be the classic for him :(

July 22, 201213 yr 1997 is probably the best retro chart there. Didn't realize that Bryan Adams was getting solo top 10 hits as late as 2002.
July 22, 201213 yr Author 1997 is probably the best retro chart there. Didn't realize that Bryan Adams was getting solo top 10 hits as late as 2002. I know, me neither! Mind you, he was No 1 in 2000 with Chicane and then top 3 with Mel C, so he still had chart 'legs' I guess.
July 22, 201213 yr 1997 is blates the best. Or maybe I think that as I am old?! Rating each of the songs out of 10 2011 just wins for me! 2011 - 58/60 2007 - 54/60 2002 - 33/60 (don't recall Bryan Adams but I've assumed it to be a maximum of 1/10) 1997 - 57/60

July 22, 201213 yr What let 1997 down then? (would be MJ for me by far). Mainly MJ and the awful butchering of one of The Police's worst songs.
July 22, 201213 yr 2002 was a horrendous time with all that pop idol crap and flip n fill and scooter stuff!!

July 22, 201213 yr Author Mainly MJ and the awful butchering of one of The Police's worst songs. We agree totally then! I was gobsmacked at the time when Puff Daddy retook the top spot from Oasis.
July 22, 201213 yr Author 1- UMBRELLA- Rihanna Ft Jay Z (22,143) (last week for this I think?) Yep! 10th and last.

July 22, 201213 yr This song has bigger legs than expected. The physical CD must be helping this one, I suspect.
July 22, 201213 yr This song has bigger legs than expected. The physical CD must be helping this one, I suspect. There's no physical single for Sing, there's an EP that counts towards the album chart (because of the length or the number of songs on it are too many). All the sales come from digital downloads ;)
