I have a feeling Stooshe are the new The 411, if anyone even remembers that group.

That is the exact feeling I've always had about them!

I still love "On my knees"

Conor Maynard far from the worst person to hold Plan B off a second week at #1 but a little bit disappointed ill Manors couldn't come back from the very small midweek lead! Good to see Delilah holding onto the top 5 and Rick Ross staying as #8 - 'God Forgives, I Don't' is the most bizarre top 10 album I can think of this year, most rap artists struggle to sell albums even when they're big singles artists but Rick Ross has never even seen the top 75 singles yet and only the top 100 twice (both as a feature) Nice to see Adele just holding onto the top 10 again as well.

These low album sales really help artists like Nas, Frank Ocean, Rick Ross, etc. tbh.

And, for what it's worth, I'm On One has a massive chart run for a #76 hit!

I would say the no1 album is on 20k this week, wonder what the no10 has sold - 21 seems to be selling because of its massiveness now lol!!

Reggie is gushing about his favourite artists again.

411 >>>> Stooshe :smoke:

411 >>>> Stooshe :smoke:

Definitely, by far. I can realistically see them going the same way though, it follows the pattern of a debut single that's a forgettable top 5 hit, and then the second single becoming more defining... assuming the album is following the third single too.

The 411's debut album was brilliant :kink:

Wearing My Rolex was beaten to #1 by 4 Minutes by Madonna, so at least it was beaten by an amazing song, and one of the biggest songs of the year.

This is actually potentially one of my favourite top 3s ever - Calvin is currently #1 on my chart, Wiley #2 and Florence #4! :o

'We'll Be Coming Back', is undoubtedly a huge summer anthem. A melodic guitar-led intro gives way to a hard electro synth-fuelled chorus backed by Example's catchy, addictive vocals. From the terraces in Ibiza to the festival fields, it is set to be the soundtrack to the summer. Remixes come courtesy of Michael Woods, Killsonik, R3hab and Jacob Plant. - HMV

'Wearing My Rolex' was big at the time, but it's safe to say it's completely forgotten now. I've not even heard it since 2009.

I listen to Radio 1Xtra, so I still hear it all the time. I love songs with beats like that, like Perfect Exceeder, Tenderoni, Yeah Yeah, etc.

It's a shame that Calvin Harris' music has become so generic recently. When he started out he sounded so fresh.

As much as I do love Heatwave (#2 in my current chart like I said and still easily up there with the best #1s of the year), still really annoying to see it going to #1 ahead of 'We'll Be Coming Back', meaning Calvin's #2 streak extends to a fourth single in a row :drama: Ah well, also on the positive Wiley finally has a #1 to his name (not counting the Roll Deep ones as he wasn't individually named on them). Second #1 for Ms D though out of two chart entries, one under a different name - she'd be a good call on a Pointless question about artists with more than one UK #1
