August 19, 201214 yr Media Studies, I was using him as an example of a modern day star that children would love, and I was saying how the aid of new media such as the likes of Youtube or twitter has helped build him a young fanbase that can be taken advantage of, so in this sense, they could be seen as a minority group as those that are slightly older wouldn't be in a sense 'fooled' into buying his merchandise in the same way. If that seems complicated, it was for me as well :P Pleasing to see Muse back in the top 30, but I'm still not fully clicking with Survival. Hopefully, the second album's singles can take priority now. Yeah that seems complicated. And even when I understand things I have so much difficulty explaining them in writing. :drama: Congrats on getting a B (+ all your even better results!). I have to say, all the meltdowns this week about Whistle getting #1 on the Hot 100 were very entertaining. :coffee:

August 19, 201214 yr I realise Reggie is going to be hounded for that but to be frank it doesn't concern me, I'd rather that than an automaton doing the charts.
August 19, 201214 yr Imagine    I can somewhat understand the stick (?) it gets, but it sounds absolutely beautiful to me.

August 19, 201214 yr Imagine, my favourite john lennon song behind Working Class Hero - strange how Lennons solo career didnt do as well as paul mccartney, imagine seemed to re-popularise him just as his singles were peaking lower and lower, then he disappeared until his unfortunate death in 1980....whereas mccartney continued to top the chart until 1989!!
August 19, 201214 yr Lennon/Legend isn't that far fetched a mistake to make, especially as the latter has been in the chart recently. I'll let Reggie off for that one :P I'm not the biggest fan of 'Imagine' but it is nice to hear it in the chart again. Lawson really are the new McFly - first single 4-24, second single 3-17 :drama:
August 19, 201214 yr Do you think Lawson will ever get a song that sells over 200,000? I know they only really get played by Capital FM, but Cover Drive are in a similar situation and managed it with Twilight, so I reckon if Lawson get a really, really catchy song they can do it.

August 19, 201214 yr Shouldnt Happy Xmas (War is Over) not be in the chart discography? Yes it should. BAD TOM
August 19, 201214 yr Lawson really are the new McFly - first single 4-24, second single 3-17 :drama: It's even worse for Lawson, as McFly were releasing their singles during a time when the majority of singles had a short stay in the charts.
August 19, 201214 yr 31 Ryan O'Shaugnessy - No Name Good tune from him, Does have that "Hey There Deliah" feel on it
