afraid not..and I've never met anyone of any age who admits to being a fan, which is mysterious as they sold an awful lot of albums at one time. Maybe people just dont like admitting they bought them...! :(

I'm happy to admit I think their best ever single was one they wrote themselves (I think - Bop Bop Baby). Their fans seemed to prefer cover versions sadly....

I spent three years working in Dublin and one of my colleagues was a big Westlife fan. Apart from that one flaw she was lovely.

The follow-up single bombed do they don't count

I'm  broken

Well there's one act that beat Oasis with 27 (if you include re-releases, but not digital re-entries)........
The Saturdays, Spice Girls, Sugababes, Atomic Kitten, Mis-Teeq, Busted, McFly, Westlife, Blue, S Club 7, S Club 8/Juniors, Steps, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Samantha Mumba, The Wanted, JLS, Cheryl Cole, Boyzone, Rita Ora, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga

A few of those above have broke their Top 40 chart runs -

2008 - Atomic Kitten - Anyone Who Had A Heart #77

2010 - Boyzone - Love Is A Hurricane #44

2012 - Cheryl Cole/Wretch 32 - Screw You #100

2007 - Westlife - I'm Already There #62

2008 - McFly - Stay With Me #79

2009 - McFly - Falling In Love #87

Personally, I think this should just be about singles. It's not really fair that an album track selling extremely well (but not quite well enough to make the Top 40) should stop and Artist's consecutive Top 40 run. If we go by that rule, then NOONE should make this as everyone else's album tracks sold even more poorly and failed to make the Top 75/100/200/whatever.
Didn't Shayne Ward chart in the top 40 with all his releases?
Cheryl Cole is screwed over (pun intended) by 'Screw You' charting at #100 on the release of her album, she's otherwise on 8/8 top 40 hits.

That'll be rectified as Screw You is gonna be the 3rd single

Until Britney released "Radar", she'd had been on this list.

Too true...though in fairness she has had her day. Even if Radar was not released, she would have not made it due to I Wanna Go and Criminial. Christina Aguilera would have been on here but the public ignored You Lost Me.

Do Take That have a 100% hit rate?

Natalie Imbruglia almost had a complete top 40 record, but Want spoiled it, peaking at #88 apparently. I had no idea it was even released here though. :P

Delta Goodrem has a 100% hit rate with hers - 5 top 10 singles and another top 20.

Britney could've been on this list if it weren't for stupid Radar, I Wanna Go and Shattered Glass. -_- Peaked at #46, #111 and #152 respectively.

Shattered Glass actually only reached #192.

As a matter of interest, she had quite a few import chart positions too. Only 'FTBOMBH' wasn't released in the UK.

#76 - I Love Rock N Roll [June 2002]

#126 - Toxic [February 2004]

#140 - Me Against The Music [November 2003]

#144 - Everytime [June 2004]

#155 - I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman [April 2002]

#178 - From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart [March 2000]

Michelle Gayle had 7 top 30 hits and then diseappeared.

Which reminds of Michelle McManus (pop idol 2 winner) had 2 top 20 hits.

Holly Valance 4 singles all making top 20 status.

Martine McCutcheon 5 releases all making top 10 status.

Stephen Gately 3 releases all making top 20 status.

Corona 5 releases all making top 40 status.

2 Unlimited (under ray and anita) had 13 top 40.
