The Public Enemy track is such a perfect fit for the Paralympics, really inspired song choice by whoever's responsible considering it was pretty obscure before :P

This sounds like something you'd use as music for the closing credits of Thomas the Tank Engine or Noddy or something.

I agree perfect for the paralympics, its going to fall very rapid next week though

And ;)

After seeming very unpredictable at the beginning of the week, I think this week's top 5 has ended up very predictable. I'm usually not 100% what the top 5 will be even on the day, but it seems obvious to me today.
Amazing top 2 in the albums. Hope 'Come Of Age' has at least improved on the 31.5k opening of WDYEFTV?

This has held up really well considering the only three songs above it are new entries.

I'm surprised of Lilttle Mix's staying power on i-Tunes, it could stay top 5 next week, too early to tell though.

I'd be incredibly surpised if it didn't tbh. I'm hoping 40k+, and 30k+ for Two Door Cinema Club.

Although Pink rose to prominence as an R&B singer in the classic '90s LaFace mould, a front displayed on her debut CAN'T TAKE ME HOME, it was when she took control of her own image in 2001 that she truly became an icon. While the Linda Perry (4 Non Blondes) composed hit "Get This Party Started" strayed not all that far from her initial dance-pop path, the remainder of M!SSUNDAZTOOD revealed an artist schooled in the punk tradition. Further recordings wandered down multiple paths, cementing Pink's reputation as a genre-bending pop songstress. - HMV

All new top 3. Very exciting but I do hope Wings can have a decent top 40 run.

I hope so. It might do, since it overtook Pink already.

It's a shame that this has peaked at #3 considering it's better than both the singles above it. :(

I wonder if all the top 3 have passed the 80k mark this week.

Pink is kind of like Rihanna for me, when she's bad she's meh, but when she's good she's very, very good indeed, and this is the latter :D

Totally got my hopes up that this was going to #1 though, hadn't checked the iTunes chart since Wednesday until today :(

Last time we had a new top 3 was last year week ending 27 August

01 (***) Wretch 32 feat. Josh Kumra – Don’t Go

02 (***) Emeli Sandé – Heaven

03 (***) Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera – Moves Like Jagger

Blow Me (One Last Kiss) has one of the best videos of the year imo.
