The following songs left the top 40 this week:

40. Alex Clare - Too Close

39. Calvin Harris feat. Example - We'll Be Coming Back

37. Angel - Wonderful

36. Jessica Wright - Dance All Night

34. Nicki Minaj - Pound The Alarm

30. Justin Bieber feat. Big Sean - As Long As You Love Me

27. Gerry And The Pacemakers - You'll Never Walk Alone

Heard the new Taylor Swift song for the first time and it's not as awful as I expected it to be :o It's not my favourite Swift song to peak at #30, that goes to You Belong With Me. Her other #30 song Mine, I don't like.

So like Bre mentioned last week, this has entered the Top 40 three times without being at any position outside #21-#30, or something stupid like that!

Nice revival for Madness. I still don't like it anywhere near as much as I should for a song by Muse, but its really growing.

NO, I'm referring to the 'the chart is lacking in criminals atm :(' comment

Well, they are. There's much less now than before.

Nice random big climb for Pro Green.

Really never expected 'Madness' to recover but they've managed it! Could even climb again next week. That was my first time hearing it as I wasn't around when it was top 40 last time and not bothered listening to it in my own time. Sounded pretty decent although not their best and a bit of a step down from 'Survival'.

YES at 'How To Save A Life' Seven places higher than its top 40 re-entry earlier this year! Genuinely one of my favourite songs of all time.

Edited by Bré

Muse's Madness is truly awful. SO slow!!

Your comment completely misses the point of the song and your opinion of the song is reminiscent of what Tony Blackburn once said about Fleetwood Mac's 'Albatross'.

"The most crushingly boring tune in the world. It just drones on. It starts, then it continues and then doesn't go anywhere."

Over My Head > How To Save A Life

Both are in my top 10 favourite songs of all time, though. The Fray make SERIOUSLY good albums!!

'Little Talks' still holding up well, hoping for it to stay top 40 for at least 12 weeks.

'Payphone' back in the top 25? <_<

Why is that necessarily a bad thing?

I don't know. Gives variety in the chart. I don't think people like Taylor Swift and Carly Rae Jepsen have the same life experiences as people like Professor Green.
