Yay Calvin :D SHM's top version is now down to 0.85 and should fall back so more, their EP is still selling a fair amount (still #13) but Calvin's EP sales will be much higher anyway. 'Sweet Nothing' seems to have the #1 in the bag, 4th #1 for Calvin! Crazy that it could so easily have been his 8th #1 if he'd timed his last 4 releases a bit better.

 

Lawson up to #6 but still looking likely to miss the top 5, really surprised considering Heart and Radio 1 are on board with this one as well as Capital.

 

Disclosure up to #22, looks like it could do a 'Wonderful' with a surprise high new entry then climbing for a few weeks. Would absolutely love to see 'Latch' in the top 10.

 

Everything Everything now up to #48 after stalling at ~#57 for a while but I doubt it'll get much higher, still if it can go at least top 60 officially that'll be great.

Looks like Calvin's going to shatter his #02 curse, and it couldn't be with a better song. What an amazing couple of #01's we've had :wub:

Finally they have sorted the Tyler release out - it's now showing as 99p next to the song rather than 'album only' and the EP is now available to buy rather than being on pre-order!

 

The result has seen him climb to #31 and I'm guessing the pre-order sales for the EP will be added this week si hopefully a Top 30 entry is not out of the question - Deserves so much more though!!

Extremely gutted that one track on Rebecca's deluxe edition is album only. What's the point? I'm not downloading 10 songs I've already got just to get that one track.

TBH though his performances in the final particularly his duet with Will were awful... Leanne was the best on the night - however Bo or Tyler will easily be more successful than her in the long run

Will.I.Am. spent too much of his time on The Voice recycling his own tracks on the contestants. I totally agree that Tyler singing 'OMG' was car crash TV at its most finest but I'm sure Will.I.Am was just thinking "$$$ royalties $$$" instead. :lol:

I agree - it wasn;t his fault OMG was an awful song choice for him, made worse by the flying antics as well.

 

Bo and Danny's wasn't much better - but their's was bad due to Danny's attempt to rap.

Yeah. OMG is an awful song choice for everybody. :lol: I've never seen a good live performance of it tbh. The best one I saw was when Usher, will.i.am and Justin Bieber performed it at the Capital FM concert.

I'm sure something weird went on last week + all the singles got deleted so people pre-ordered his album more. Two Fingers was 37 on Tursday then went out of the top 1000 songs over the weekend - the weekend effect would not the THAT extreme :D

Backtrack #20

Calvin's been so unlucky lately! Every song (that I know of, at least) that he has written for other people - We Found Love, Call My Name and Spectrum - has gone to #1, yet with his own releases he has been unable to. All of his songs from 18 months have done quite well so I think he deserves a #1 to show for that.

 

I'm glad Sweet Nothing's looking set for the top, it will be one of my favourites of the year. If someone would have told me this time last year that Florence would get 2 #1s I would not have believed them in a million years! Calvin's done wonders for her popularity and success. Her third album could be massive when it comes out. #stan

'Let's Go' and 'Feel So Close' deserved to be number 1's for Calvin... the other 2 not that much.....
